Opolska Restaurant — one of Schaumburg's strongest polish spots. Rooted in technique and tradition throughout. Friendly without hovering. "The beef stew (goulash) was rich and tender, and the potato dumplings were perfectly soft and comforting" — Oh La La Nail Spa

“The food was delicious and the sampler gave you a little bit of everything.”
The food was delicious and the sampler gave you a little bit of everything. You could tell it there were very high-quality ingredients being used, and I loved the finishing touches with the dill.

“I visited today and the food was incredible.”
I visited today and the food was incredible. Everything tasted authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. The beef stew (goulash) was rich and tender, and the potato dumplings were perfectly soft and comforting. The potato pancake dish was also amazing — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and paired beautifully with the goulash and fresh sides like the cabbage salad and beets. The portions were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and you can really tell that the dishes are made with care. This is the kind of meal that feels like true Polish home cooking. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family. Wonderful job

“A very pleasant place with a warm, homely atmosphere.”
A very pleasant place with a warm, homely atmosphere! The staff did their best even though the restaurant was quite busy — all the servers were friendly and smiling, clearly enjoying what they do. I was especially impressed by the complimentary touches — a gentleman offering unlimited raspberry liqueur to all guests, and fresh bread with pork crackling spread served even before we ordered. The food was delicious, beautifully presented in elegant dishes. If you want to experience true Polish hospitality, this is definitely the place to visit!

“This has been on my list for quite some time so I was finally able to go.”
This has been on my list for quite some time so I was finally able to go. Parking is a shared lot so plenty of parking available. The restaurant itself is big so you can easily get a table. Restrooms are on both sides. I didn’t realize this but this is on the same road as Bacowka. Just a FYI, that one charges you an outrageously high sales tax, their prices in person are higher than what you see on their website, and their service is atrocious. Opolska’s menu is not as extensive as Bacowka’s but their quality is superior. The service was very attentive and our waitress was really nice. Prices were very fair and sales tax was normal. The food portions were very sufficient, you’ll leave full. We ordered a Polish plate, potato pancakes, 5 meat pierogis, and handmade dessert. I also ordered the kompot (homemade juice). It’s a refreshing drink, not too fruity. The Polish plate came with kiebasa sausage, 3 different kinds of pierogi, potato pancakes, stuffed cabbage, and sauerkraut. Potato pancakes were not soggy, they were firm and moist. The Kiebasa sausage was juicy and tasted great with the sauerkraut. Stuffed cabbage was my personal favorite. The meat inside of it was well seasoned. Pierogi were all very tasty. They were fresh and had ample fillings. The homemade dessert cake was interesting, it wasn’t sweet. It had a graham cracker crust, raspberries, shaved almonds, chocolate, and some cream in the middle.

“Good and authentic Polish food.”
Good and authentic Polish food. So if you want to try some Polish food, this is a fantastic place to do so. You will need to make reservations for Sunday afternoon because that place is pretty busy. They have more than just Polish sausage or pierogi. Portions are pretty big so be prepared to take some leftovers with you. "Unfortunately" I don't have any pictures of what we ordered because I was busy eating it 😉. But I got this one picture of big ice cream dessert that looked exactly like ice cream dessert served in many restaurants or cafes in Poland. 😀

“We had an unforgettable double birthday dinner at Opolska Restaurant in Schaumburg.”
We had an unforgettable double birthday dinner at Opolska Restaurant in Schaumburg. The atmosphere was warm and elegant, with special white tableclot hs set up just for us. The food was incredible—especially the golonka, which was tender and full of flavor. Every dish was made to perfection, and the birthday dessert was top quality. The ice-cold beer was a special treat on a 97°F day and hit the spot perfectly. The service was excellent and made the night even more special. Highly recommend this authentic Polish gem for any celebration or a great meal out!

“We used to go to Bacówka all the time and decided to try Opolska.”
We used to go to Bacówka all the time and decided to try Opolska. I always eat Hungarian stew pancakes and it was very good ,I would say better then other place since it wasn’t too salty. Waitresses are very nice and seems to know their menu better then other place too .
