I made an order of Chilli Paneer, and it was perfectly cooked, with soft paneer cubes coated in a rich, flavorful sauce. The balance of spice and tanginess was just right, enhanced by fresh peppers and spring onions that added a nice crunch. Kudos to the chef! The portion was generous and satisfying, with an appealing presentation. Most importantly, my kid loved it and kept saying it was delicious and yummy. Definitely worth trying again.

“I finally got a chance to try this restaurant.”

I finally got a chance to try this restaurant. The last few times we had to leave because of the long wait of more than 45 minutes. They finally added additional dining space leasing the restaurant next door! Great South Indian food in Gen and good service. The dining and decor is also great and very comfortable! I would highly recommend this Restaurant if you get a chance whenever you are in the Northern suburbs!

One of the best vegetarian restaurant in town. Best one from regular vegetarian franchise restaurants for sure. We tried various rood items and all of them are very authentic and tasty. If you got spicy taste buds just let them know. Veg kurma is the BEST of all we had.

Excellent opinion for vegetarians. Highly recommend this place for their awesome buttermilk, paneer tikka and baby corn masala. Perfection in every dish. Service was good. Place was very crowded and noisy for lunch but we were seated immediately and atmosphere was good.

Vanam has such an amazing thali! Every item on the thali is amazing - they do rotate some of their items and I have been amazed by it always. A solid 10/10. Their Poori Kurma is out of the world. Love the place! Cannot recommend enough! Pineapple Kesari is as good as you get in a South Indian wedding breakfast. Amazing amazing food!

The food was absolutely awesome , very flavorful, very authentic taste. The servers(Twincy - our server) were all very curteous and very pleasant. Wait was not terrible, it was packed yet place was being expanded. We ordered Dosas, gobi and corn manchurian, ginger tea and kids noodle and all of them were good. On a seperate note, they do need to pay attention to restroom cleanliness though.

Tried the weekday South Indian thali at Vanam, Schaumburg for about $19 + tax, and it was absolutely worth it. The thali was generous and satisfying with 10 well-balanced curries, steamed rice, and one phulka, all served fresh and full of authentic flavors. The interior truly stands out: rich, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. Everything felt clean, neat, and premium, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. A massive shoutout to Swetha, Fareeha, Sai, and Hiral for their exceptional customer service. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely made the experience memorable with their professionalism and care. Vanam delivers both on food quality and hospitality, I’d highly recommended for a comforting yet upscale South Indian meal. Good job Team Vanam! and Hey! I’ll be back for my desert! 😉
