Peke’s Pozole
Peke’s Pozole — dependable Little Village mexican known for the Pozole. It gets busy, and that's part of the appeal. The flavors are genuine, nothing diluted. Pixie Fairy: "The broth is rich and flavorful, with just the right balance of spices" [$]

“The service was exceptional. Upon arrival at 9:00 AM on Sunday, the wait was minimal. I strongly recommend the pozole flight, enabling a comparison of various pozole styles. Personally, I preferred the red pozole; the green pozole was spicier, and the white pozole, while flavorful, lacked depth. I highly recommend both dine-in and takeout options. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to Dulce Dental, located nearby. Also highly recommend the menudo as it's spicy and flavorful aswell.”

“First time here. Luved it. I tried the 3 bowel pozole special. My favorite one was the green pozole. The others had the red pozole. Alot of food. Dec 2023 tried the green pozole and flautas. Delicious. It's worth the wait . sep 2024 good food. Hate no hard copy menu to look at. Qcr only. Tried the cesina dinner .”

“Love it❣️ We had the pozole flight. The dishes that were coming out of the kitchen looked amazing can't wait to come back and try other plates. 😋”

“Tastes like home. Exceptional food. Jonathan really outdid himself with this place.”

“The food the customer service everything was great. I will definitely be back!!”

“Can’t go wrong with anything you order at Peke’s. Everything is super flavorful and delicious. Wish I lived in Chicago, or I would be there once a week!”

“My wife and I decided to try this place, and was absolutely STUNNING!! She had the POZOLE FLIGHT, and more than welcome specter. POZOLE VERDE was good, but it had a dominant COMINO condiment 7/10 POZOLE ROJO AND WHITE were great. THE CECINA its amazing...like from Mexico. PASTOR its really good too. The HUARACHE its enormous, and good, but the best thing were the FLAUTAS!!!!! They were really good. Place in general looks good, crowded, clean. So definitely deserves a recommendation!!!!!”

“Hadn't a taste for pozole and was recommended this place by my sister, great choice. The have red, white and green pozole to choose from. Small bowl was more than enough. Most places you dig for the meat, not this place your playe is full of meat and real hominy.”
