“When I say this food was smack your mama good!! Omg peach coffee!! Never would’ve imagined u could mix peaches and grits!! This place is amazing! Treat yourself!!!”

“I am visiting family in Chicago and we all tried Peach’s restaurant for the first time. All the food was delicious and I especially enjoyed the shrimp and grits. My waitress Diamond very attentive and a delight. It was a lovely dining experience. I highly recommend this cozy restaurant.”

“It was a wait but it was Father’s Day and Juneteenth weekend. Food was good and the peach coffee was a surprise and delight. Nice lil cozy spot with a bar and seating in the back. Will definitely come again. We got the banana rum French toast with pancakes. Turkey bacon, eggs, and cheese grits.”

“I visited this restaurant for breakfast. Food was outstanding. The only thing I did not like was that there was no way to dry your hands in the bathroom because there was no tissue available and the air blower did not work.”

“Breakfast spot near where we were staying, we walked over to get something to eat on a early Sunday morning. We were greeted and sat immediately and they brought us water while we looked over the menu. No alcohol so no bloody for me. It took us awhile to decide what we wanted as everything on the menu sounded good. I got the big bird breakfast sandwich with the house potatoes. You could hear a pin drop when they dropped off that food, all conversations came to a stop. I don't remember what everyone else had, they were happy with theirs, I was happy with mine. Service was good, the waitress joked around with us drunk and hungover tourists. They're not too far from a cta station and worth the trip.”

“Wow! This was probably the best plate of shrimp and grits I've ever had! They were happy to swap the pork bacon for turkey. The peach coffee was fascinatingly different and tasty. I'd never had anything like it. The service was attentive, and while it wasn't super fast it was clear that a lot was done from scratch, so I didn't mind at all.”

“I stopped by this morning while visiting from Houston, TX, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. The food was packed with flavor and absolutely lived up to the hype. Definitely worth the visit!!”

“When I asked my mom what she thought of Peach’s, she didn’t hesitate “10/10.” She had woken up craving grits, and after a bit of research, I chose Peach’s as the spot for us during our annual mother + daughter trip. We arrived shortly after opening and only waited about five minutes, as there was a couple ahead of us placing a to-go order. Once they were finished, we were greeted warmly, and a gentleman at the bar even walked over to welcome us and show us to our seats. He was kind, friendly, and seemed genuinely excited to have us there. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept. Our server, Tamarra, was outstanding personable, knowledgeable about the menu, and truly happy to be helping us. We ordered the Peach’s Special: two eggs with chicken sausage, grits, and pancakes. Our food came out quickly, piping hot, and absolutely delicious. I also tried their peach coffee, which was unique and so good that I plan to order some online. Overall, Peach’s delivered on every level: great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. (And yes! we did ask about Obama!)”

“Really nice neighborhood breakfast spot—Peach's Restaurant has a great vibe and a solid, well-rounded menu. Definitely a place you want to come back to. The **peach coffee** was surprisingly good—much better than expected. We also tried their famous **shrimp and grits**, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Rich, flavorful, and well-balanced. The only small confusion was the pork bacon—it’s mixed into the grits rather than on top, so you don’t really notice it much. We also ordered **The Big Bird** mainly for the duck bacon, but unfortunately it wasn’t available, so we had to switch it. The dish itself was still very good—the biscuit was maybe a bit too moist, but overall enjoyable. The **short pancakes** (two large ones) with blueberry lemon were delicious and satisfying. Only downside was the service, which could definitely use some improvement. Still, great food and a cozy neighborhood feel make this a strong 4-star spot.”
