Food is amazing! The best Mediterranean food I’ve had in Chicago, the chicken doner is top notch. Serving sizes are also huge, I’ve never finished a full plate as a 170lb guy. And most of all, the people here are really friendly and welcoming!

Speechless at how beautiful my experience was here. Came with my family who are visiting from out of town and so grateful we stopped in. The service and food here was incredible. They even brought out baklava as a gift. Highly recommend!

A friend and I ordered the falafel wrap and a turkish feta salad. Both were easy going and just tasted good without any fuss. The wrap was filling and the salad was fresh and light. The staff were cool and not pushy at all. We just hung out and enjoyed our food. Would definitely go back to catch up over more of those relaxed flavors.

When people call Chicago a foodie city THIS is what they mean. Mom and pop shop with the best Mediterranean/turkish food I’ve ever had. Can’t beat the happy hour for food and drinks which is Monday-friday(!!). Do yourself a favor and get the cigar borek when you go, because you MUST visit this place.

Loved this place! They have several vegan options which was awesome for me. I got a lentil soup and a appetizer plater - all so incredibly delicious. My bf who’s not vegan Really enjoyed his food too! Also, loved the decorations and playing authentic music (which I personally love). Place was clean and looks like it’s taking care of. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely come back.

“The best Turkish restaurant I’ve been to.”

The best Turkish restaurant I’ve been to. I have been here a few times with my family, and every time the food and service were great. We tried lahmacun and sultan platter, both great. Their complementary bread and carrots dip, are out of this world. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I absolutely loved everything about Zizi's Cafe! The food was to die for, bursting with flavor in every bite. The atmosphere felt like a breath of fresh air, cozy and inviting, and the hospitality of the owner and staff was the cherry on top. The place was spotless, making it clear they run a tight ship. It’s truly a home away from home where every detail hits the nail on the head!

“Really lovely spot for lunch.”

Really lovely spot for lunch! The bread they brought out with a carrot dip was amazing and the food was really great overall. I tried one of their lunch specials and it was great, especially for only $12.50. They have indoor and outdoor dining and the staff was very friendly, too.

I can’t believe I didn’t come here sooner living in Lincoln Park!!! One of the best meals I’ve had in Chicago. The chicken iskender isn’t something I would normally order — but it was heaven 😍 The tender chicken mixed with bread that melts in your mouth with the creamy sauce was perfection. But a lot of food haha. The service is amazing too. The owner was so accommodating for my group of 11! I will definitely be coming back!
