“Overall Soup was superlicious ribeye was okay and Turkish tea was a no but the bread served was freshly baked and was perfectly spongy will definitely revisit”
I used to come to this place years ago under different ownership and while service was slow food was always great.
Very bad service. We waited 15 minutes. I came back twice to have our order taken. They didn't even come.

“Great food, big portion sizes.”
Great food, big portion sizes! Doner kabob sandwich is also so flavorful! That and the manty is not spicy if you’re looking for that! The decor is also very relaxing and cute!

“A Must-Visit Spot for Delicious Desserts!” I had a wonderful experience at iCafe! The dessert was absolutely delicious—perfectly caramelized on top with a smooth, creamy texture inside. The presentation was simple yet elegant, and the taste did not disappoint. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy, and the service was friendly and attentive.

The food was delicious and warm (doesn't have tons of over spice). Service was awesome. They served hot bread with butter that was finger licking (we got the leftovers to go 😆) price was relatively cheap tho. Sorry for the messy table pic. Highly recommend.... Definitely come back. Thanks guys

When we get there the restaurant was booked for a wedding so we had to eat outside while it’s cold and there wasn’t enough outside heaters. Out of 10 my ratings: Lahmacun 7 Manti 9 Beyti 9 Iskender 8 Ayran9

“Wonderful little Turkish spot in Irving Park.”
Wonderful little Turkish spot in Irving Park. The honey cake is delicious and the Turkish coffee is as good as I've ever had. The lunch specials looked great and I am excited to go back and try them. They also have unusual Turkish drinks like Ayran and Uludag

Lovey staff! Very helpful and explained the items well. We had a beef samosa and chicken, both had very flaky dough but the halal beef was the best! The hot turkish tea is strong with a good flavor and only $1! Finally we had their original desert, kazandibi. It’s a Turkish pudding with some caramel on top, making it very refreshing with the tea.

“I think this is the most delicious kofte.”
I think this is the most delicious kofte. The guy works in the kitchen knows how to make this koftes. It is exactly the same taste when i was in Turkey. If you go to regular Turkish restaurant you will pay 20$ and get the half of this plate. I also ordered lentil soup for $1.50 and that was really good. Thank you!

“The place is small and kind of a hole in the wall place.”
The place is small and kind of a hole in the wall place. The lady at the counter was friendly. We ordered a couple of dishes- pida with parsley and cheese, istekander and one more that i am forgetting the name off. So, the starter bread they bought out wasnt too great but it isnt part of what we ordered. The food that we did order was amazing and i really enjoyed it. Taste way better than the turkish food i had on the east coast. Dedinately recommend this place.

“Best Turkish food i have tried in Chicago.”
Best Turkish food i have tried in Chicago! Friendly staff and the food is always fresh and delicious. The Iskander was incredible, the meat was moist but not oily, fresh yogurt, fresh made grilled bread on the bottom, topped with a tasty tomato sauce. The Lahmacun is thin and soo good as well as the Sucuk & cheese Pide. Yum yum!

We took my in-laws here to try out a new place, we just wanted really good Turkish food and that’s exactly what we got. We were blown away! We ordered hummus and lahmacun for appetizers, it came with warm bread which was delicious! The main plates were really good. Everything is fresh, and such higher quality for the price! We will be coming again and again. So glad we tried this place out. The waitress was very nice, and made sure we were okay all throughout our meal. We always had enough bread and water. Not mention it is all HALAL. I recommend the doner and mixed plate combo! Presentation is great too. Thank you so much!
