“The tortas are so good. Every one I've tried has been spectacular (i get the cubano most often, but when i try others they're great also). This is a lovely mom and pop shop that makes me feel good to support.”

“Great place it really does have big flavorful servings the tortas are definitely sharable unless you got a big appetite even the tacos are stuffed. Staff was nice even tho we came when it was somewhat slow 10/10 would recommend.”

“Great food, great customer service. Little gem Definitely will return Best torta around”

“**update 2025** - El primo still makes amazing tortas. **Review from 2014** - Torteria San Lenchito is a great spot for tortas ( sandwiches). The menu affords a sandwich for whatever you may be craving. Steak, chicken, pork. I am a big fan of their torta Philly Steak, which is a delicious take on a Philly cheese steak sandwich. I intend to try them all!”

“Great torta, quick and pleasant service! Highly recommend”

“Amazing food and quality. Didn’t expect this place to be that good but it really is. The people are super nice, great service, and food comes out fast. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area. For some reason the beans were the best beans I’ve had in while. I don’t make reviews at all but this place definitely deserved it!”

“I don't think I have seen that many torta options anywhere else (27!). They even have photos of every one lined up on the wall, which makes choosing a little easier. I kept it simple with the asada torta. We had some complimentary chips and refried beans to start. It was easily the best beans I have had in a while. The torta, which was already huge, came with rice and more refried bean. Flavorful, juicy carne asada and veggies were loaded between nicely toasted bread. I actually love how the bread was just thick enough to be enjoyed while not taking away from the meat. If I am being picky, the meat was a touch undersalted for my taste but there was a salt shaker on every table so it was an easy fix. Both salsas were great.”

“Fui por el antojo de una torta y vi que recomendaban mucho este lugar, la atención de la persona que me atendió muy agradable, atención perfecta, pero desafortunadamente la torta cubana que pedí no fue lo que esperaba, los primeros bocados excelente, pero después salieron muchos “gorditos” el chorizo estaba como que muy pellejudo, creo tendré que volver por otra combinación de torta y ver si corro con mejor suerte, aclaró, regresaré solo por la atención recibida, merecen otra oportunidad!!!!!”
“I recommend getting the #7 Rajas Poblanas con Pollo torta. I am no torta connoisseur, but it was like no torta I’ve had before. Whereas most tortas are tasty sandwiches, this one was more like a tasty meal. The portion sizes are ample and I left feeling stuffed after only eating 1 torta with fries.”
“I'm new to the area and met the owners son, William, at Laundry Day Laundromat next door who told me to try their restaurant and I'm glad i did! His family is so welcoming, the food is fantastic, and their portion sizes are huge and stuffed with meat! Definitely making this a go-to spot”
