Taqueria El Heredero II
Taqueria El Heredero II — clean, consistent mexican in Humboldt Park. The decor hasn't changed, and it doesn't need to. The flavors don't apologize for being bold, and BYOB. Theisha Frazier: "The steak was seasoned perfectly" [$]

“Some of my favorite tacos in the city. Quality meat with good flavor. The salsas are very good - three options. I have not tried their entree dishes. Service is helpful and friendly. Rice and beans are good but not standout to me.”

“Super tasty here. Photo is Al pastor taco, quesabirria, and steak quesadilla. Sweet staff and relaxed atmosphere.”

“This is our go-to taco spot, we’re here all the time and it never misses. The pineapple juice is fire, seriously one of my favorites. The steak and pastor are both really good, but honestly everything we’ve tried here has been solid. That light green hot sauce though… easily the best. It takes everything to another level. I don’t even bother going anywhere else for tacos at this point. This spot is hands down the best for me.”

“The food at this spot is always delicious and well prepared. The service is friendly and attentive. I come out of my way to eat here and my wife and kids always leave happy. Atmosphere is good too they have drinks and the music is great not too loud that you can't talk”

“I get a burrito almost every week this is my favorite place. Couldn’t be happier they moved so close to home!”

“Popped in for a beer while waiting for a friend to get home. Decided to try the pastor and asada tacos and they were so good! The pastor was particularly good. Super friendly staff.”

“Heard good things about this place so decided to check it out. Saw they had dinner specials and tonight it was pork ribs. Absolutely incredible! Super nice staff too, def gotta go back on another night for a different special.”

“Got this place to go and can’t wait to come back and order again. The al pastor actually has piña. The rice and beans are so flavorful. The service was fast. The limes were actually juicy. And the salsa trio was fuego! 12/10 experience!”
