Popped in for a beer while waiting for a friend to get home. Decided to try the pastor and asada tacos and they were so good! The pastor was particularly good. Super friendly staff.

I ordered DoorDash, the food was good. I ordered the taco meal with avocado: 3 tacos came with the meal. I got the steak, chicken and chicharrón (the chicharrón had salsa verde and it was too spicy for me). It came with a side of rice and beans. It was good, I will order again.

I’ve been coming to this place since it was on armitage! I’ve sent so many friends and tourists to El Heredero because she never fails. lord have mercy it only got better! I didn’t even think that was possible. If you’re looking for a place with fire food, great people and service come here!

The Menudos broth was one of the most flavorful and taste dense I've ever had and their portions are outstanding. Horchata is top 5 in the city. They are moving, but I would take the trip to their new location.

“Great little spot I decided to take my girls.”

Great little spot I decided to take my girls. Food came fairly quickly. The guacamole was delicious and so fresh! It was my favorite part of the meal, I ate it with everything! I got the shrimp fajita plate and two tacos (asada and pastor), all the food was homey and tasted great! Kiddos got chicken tacos, they ate it all up. Server wasn’t as attentive but she was tending to everyone, had to ask her for water even. Busy place but a definite must try if you’re in the mood for tacos and are in the neighborhood.

Amazing place within walking distance from my in-laws new apartment. Service was super quick and the tacos were amazing! My favorite were the steak tacos. Good food, great location, good atmosphere! Will be here again for more tacos!

“Best Mexican food I’ve ever had.”

Best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The torta was pillowy, the sauce set up was perfect, the accompaniments were juicy and plentiful. I loved the decor of the space and it felt so authentic. I hope this place stays around for a long long time. Will most definitely be back.

“Y’all, don’t be sleeping on this place.”

Y’all, don’t be sleeping on this place. It’s a small authentic taqueria in the interiors of Logan Square. But this place has the best chicharron tacos I’ve tasted so far in the whole of Chicago. Their quesabirria, asada, pastor, and chorizo tacos are equally delicious. The prices are unbelievable, the food is chefs kiss. I’ve picked up a late dinner at this joint so many times, I’ve lost count.
