This place has been slowly declining. I've been eating at this establish since it was a corner store with no seating.
What a worst experience. Staff is highly unprofessional and very rude. Specially the lady at the counter.
Some time ago I made it a practice to not rate any businesses if I cannot give them 5 stars.

After a stressful day at the hospital and missing dinner, getting up early dropping kiddo off, cleaning mom apt because she is in rehab. I needed a perfect place to relax, give myself a moment. Tropi cuba is the perfect place to relieve stress and have a quiet moment. Starting with a warm welcoming from the owner, Millie. The family environment, people coming in and out, she knows them by name and favorite foods. A great smile from Millie, customers conversing and laughing, soothing music surrounding your sensations that transport you to a place of family and companionship. I sip my cafe con Leche and guavaba pastry..I ordered to much but my soul appreciated it. The prices are $10-20 with daily specials. Come for the food, stay for the relaxation and enjoy a café con Leche. Empanadas, tostones, and special meal for soup and half a sandwich for $12.95..perfect for leftovers overs.

-Service super awesome -Food absolutely incredible -all around experience amazing -My husband and I have eaten Cuban food in authentic Miami. TropiCuba in Chicago is just as authentic and delicious as anything I've eaten in Miami. I absolutely love it. The red beans were off the chart. The pork was crunchy outside tender inside amazing, I can't tell you how fantastic the food was. The owner was absolutely amazing, she's so sweet and welcoming the atmosphere is welcoming I love this place. Thank you so much!

I go for lunch to this place all the time since it’s close to my work I love the food so much that I decided that for my daughter‘s first birthday I would cater the whole thing from them. I wish I had a picture to show you guys everything I ordered, but anyways, I did rice meat, yucca, plantains, and I got nothing but compliments the whole night about the food it was seriously the star of the show. Highly recommended totally worth every penny I added a picture of the happy customer. Thank you for making Barbara’s first birthday a very special one with your delicious food

Love their steak sandwich ... Bread is made fresh every day and I must say this will not be the last time I drop in here. Hospitality was a🎉 10. Very cute spot for a family gathering of a date night. I recommend trying this place out you will not be disappointed!

I was looking for soup near by and stumbled across this restaurant. I was welcomed in by the server Guadalupe, and I have to say, she is a delight. I was greeted with sweetness and the food was great. I especially loved how perfect she made my coffee. I will be back again!

A family favorite for over a decade! Their freshly prepared meals and friendly staff make every visit a delight. They’re always understanding and accommodating, especially when it comes to vegetarian options. My go-to meal is their black beans, white rice, and perfectly crispy tostones—simple, flavorful, and comforting. Highly recommend!

What a gem! Jaquelin was an amazing host. we had the cheese croquettes which were like pillows, and we ordered sweet plantains (side dish, not the appetizer) and they were so good and sweet and juicy. Chinese fried rice combo fed us for 2 days, and the chicken fricasse was well seasoned. The star were the garlic yams? I’m blanking…but we got them instead of rice, they were the best dish. BYOB and super friendly!!!
