The "cafe the olla" was the perfect way to start my morning (steaming strong black coffe already sweetened) My friend and I ordered chilaquiles verdes (tomatillo sauce)one with fried eggs and one with skirt steak- they both were simply delicious-

First time checking out Sabrosos Chilaqules, this place is worth the drive and wait. Food and ambient feels like home. Workers are hustling and getting things done.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this cozy little spot is a must-visit. Honestly, just about anything you order will be delicious. My personal favorite is the chilaquiles verdes with either steak or ribeye, they’re absolutely outstanding. Pair them with a café de olla, and you have the perfect meal. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions you receive. The only downside is that the restaurant is quite small, so be prepared to wait during busy times. They also seem to have only one server, who is incredibly energetic and does a fantastic job, but could definitely use an extra helping hand. Hopefully, they’ll consider moving to a larger location in the future because this place truly deserves it!

It is a very small breakfast/brunch area with approximately 7 tables and it’s better for a party of 2 people due to limited tables/chairs. But the food is worth it and the prices! Better than la catedral or any other chilaquiles

I got there when there were about to close...and they still were nice with me. Isn't a home taste...but for a restaurant it's a good taste. Only problem here ..place its to small. But still good.

Got early and was able to get in right away. There is a big line outside most of the time. It's a small place but on point service. Had green chilaquiles with skirt steak. Delicious! Café de olla was great! 2.15.26 Didn't like the menudo/pancita. Not recommended.

Authentic storefront diner that serves the best Chilaquiles in Cicero. Try the skirtsteak and fried eggs version with some Café de Olla and Agua de Jamaica and walk out of there happy and full. Great service and great people frequent here. Check it out, you wont be disappointed.

I ordered a half-diablo, half-green chilaquiles, while my husband opted for the morita ones. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The diablo chilaquiles were definitely made in hell, hahaha! Our favorite part was the side potatoes. The food tasted like breakfast made by grandma! The portions were huge; we only managed to finish half of it. And the coffee had that homemade taste. We’d go back for sure!

Ordered chilaquiles, and the food usually tastes really good. However today the chilaquiles were dry, the meat wasn't as tasty, and it was disappointing. The service was okay, but when placing an order through the phone it's very difficult.
