I love this place, its a little hole in the wall restraint that will never fail you! Amazing margaritas for a good price (try the jamaica marg), the food is delicious, and the staff is very kind and helpful. This is one of the best Mexican places in the surrounding area. And on top of it one of the few places that lists lengua on their menu and ALWAYS have it fresh (I cant say that about other Mexican joints in the area). Keep up the amazing work Papa Luis!

Folks food is fantastic, truck driver here from Texas and I will definitely admit this place is Good!!! I try not to listen to reviews and try things for myself but I will definitely agree to say, OMG!!! Burritos are fantastic stuff and full of flavor. To my drivers stop and get some great tasting food, to everyone else there’s no reason not to try. Also prices are very favorable. Must try.

I told you I’d give you a good review or a bad review because this is what I do all over the world and today you’re getting a five star review I wish I could give you a 10 thanks for treating me like familyas a world traveler I would break you in the top 10 of all the places I’ve traveled throughout all the world. The food was authentic the smiles still with me and I know if I go back I’m gonna get the same service bravo. I’ll be back.

Authentic Mexican food, no BS. Clean place, great service, and excellent food. Will add this to my restaurant list. My dinner was 13$ 2nd time here: had half of chicken; grilled to perfection, can’t get any better than this. There was no dry piece of meat in the chicken, and the flavor was just explosive. The rice and beans had the right texture and consistency, great flavor. About $11 for high quality food. No, I’m not getting paid to say all this, I just believe they deserve the compliment for the passion they put into cooking. 10-1-2024 3rd time here. This time I had the full grilled chicken to go. WOW! That was a whole lot of chicken with rice and beans; about 7lbs of food all together with the tortillas, and 2 cups of salsas for just $22. This is freshly grilled chicken not like the crap full of unhealthy chemicals you find at the big chains, for just $22; you can’t beat it.

Never disappoints fresh margaritas from scratch the food is chef’s kiss the staff here is 💯 as far as accommodation best Mexican food in Chicago. I come here to work from Minneapolis I love this place! Highly recommend! Luis and his staff have come along way! It’s only going to get better. Oh and the Breakfast burrito preferably the steak and egg is to die for. Get here as soon as possible don’t think about it.

I had the half pollo asado and I gotta say it was worth it. Big portion of chicken. The seasoning was really good. Also got a al pastor burrito and was good too. Only complaint was the green salsa was a bit too watery. I’ll definitely be stopping by again. They have a full bar for those looking to grab some drinks.
