We came to visit and brought our friend from out of town. Let me just say the atmosphere, the love, the hospitality, the food were so good. So on point, we are very happy and delighted we stopped in the owner Laura was humble, pleasant, and greeted every guest she took the time and gave suggestions on what to order. This restaurant goes above and beyond for the customers. We felt the love. the chichaon tacos were 🔥.. Along with many other dishes, we will be back very soon. Your staff is truly great and so helpful. In this is an establishment they are family oriented kid friendly, and I highly recommend it. And the food is tradition mexican cuisine. 10/10

A very welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and delicious food. Live music on the weekend. My extended family gathers here to celebrate birthdays. They've always accommodated our large groups. I bring my out of town guests here and they are always amazed!! My favorite: Carne asada tampiqueña. But I've enjoyed everything I've ordered at Nuevo Leon!!

The last time I went to Nuevo León, I was really young and with my mother, and I remember it being good. But going back recently completely exceeded my expectations. From the very beginning, the customer service stood out. They brought us a mini appetizer—beef birria a la mexicana—and it was incredibly flavorful. Then came about seven different salsas, all perfectly made and delicious. I had carne asada served over chilaquiles, and it was so satisfying—the steak was tender, and the chilaquiles were just the right texture. To top it off, they brought out a little dessert, some creamy rice pudding, which was the perfect finish. Honestly, I was super impressed with both the food and the service. I’d love to go back often—this place really knows how to take care of their guests!

The incredible staff made the entire experience feel smooth and welcoming. But it was the chicken tostadas that turned an ordinary meal into something extraordinary. When my plate arrived, it felt like receiving three culinary masterpieces, each one perfectly crafted and brimming with everything you could want in a traditional Mexican dish. The tostadas were crispy and golden, offering a satisfying crunch that contrasted beautifully with the rich fillings. Each tostada was generously piled with juicy, tender chicken that practically melted in your mouth. The chicken was so succulent and flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning and spice, it was a masterclass in how to cook chicken. The combination of refried beans, fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, creamy queso fresco, and a generous drizzle of creamy crema brought an exciting symphony of flavors to the plate. Each bite was an explosion of contrasting textures and tastes, from the smooth richness of the beans to the crunch of the lettuce and the bright pop of the tomatoes. The creamy queso fresco added a mild tang, while the crema tied everything together with its delicate richness. The amount of flavor in just a single bite left me speechless. The chicken, tender and juicy, created the foundation for the entire dish, and I could feel the passion and expertise in every bite. It was clear that the chefs at Nuevo Leon truly knew what they were doing, they had crafted perfection. This wasn’t just a meal; it was magic on a plate, a true celebration of traditional Mexican cuisine done with elegance and heart. This experience is one that I won’t soon forget, and I’ll undoubtedly be back to savor it again.

Came in with my family and it was pleasant: the atmosphere, the servers and the owner walking around checking on the tables. They gave us appetizers right away and special ones in fact! Some enchiladas for adults and for the kids they gave them a quesadilla. We had salsa and chips and they gave us other choices to chose from like peppers and salsas to add to our dishes. I recommend ! Good food and won’t break the bank!

The place is so beautiful. They receive us right away with nachos and salsas, really good, and tortillas with beans, which were delicious! We ordered the food and it was delicious, very authentic Mexican food, recommend 100%. Worth the visit!
