“We travel often, and to find a good authentic mexican restaurant with salsa, rice, and beans on point, is very satisfying. The other day we had the torta and combo dinner, the tamale was my favorite ❤️ Today, We had the Chicken flautas, and the chicken pombazo was delish 🤤🤤🤤 The ladies there prepared everything quickly and were really kind... definitely will be going back when we come through again❤️❤️❤️”

“I’ve picked up a few times from this place. A very nice grandmotherly lady cooks all the food. Good steak tacos and tamales. Beans are really good but the rice is a little different(chicken broth flavor?). Salsa is excellent. Her Pozole had lots of pork and was good. Guacamole is made to order but last time she couldn’t make it because her avocados weren’t all ripe. The best item I’ve had so far is the breaded steak torta. I never like tortas, mainly because it’s usually just a bunch of ingredients all mushed together with no texture. Los Girasoles grilled bun is so light and airy and the steak is fried up crisp but moist and the rest of the toppings makes this the perfect Mexican sandwich for a great price.”
