I came here a few days ago to carryout. I got green steak enchiladas and 2 pork tacos. The green sauce is good but the red sauce has a nice kick, is good and spicy. The food here never fails specially the steak. The steak has sooo much seasoning and flavor and the best part is that the portions are very generous. There's times I go to a mexican restaurant to order enchiladas and either I barely get full or sometimes not full at all. But here I was not able to finish the enchiladas as theybalso served enough lettuce and tomatoes as other places don't serve that either. Overall I highly recommend it.

“First time going to this place.”

First time going to this place. There's only 2 tables occupied when I arrived. The place is clean and doesn't have this sticky or oily floors. I noticed that after the other customers are gone the staffs cleaned the tables right away. The staff is friendly and patience in explaining their menu. A little bit price from the usual go-to Mexican restaurant but it's worth it. Took only few minutes and I already have what I ordered. A plate of Lengua (beef's tongue) Burrito with rice and beans and a large cup of Horchata. The meat is tender and the veggies on it are fresh. It was served hot. The Horchata is good too same thing with their rice and beans. I was surprised that their servings are big. Free freshly made chips too. Money well spent.

this place is not about the atmosphere or to go people watching...this place is about the food. OMGOMGOMG of you want a small family run comfort food place of deliciousness, eat here. If you want high quality at an affordable price, order here. If you want convenience, too tired after a long day, and want "American" portions, then yep, they deliver. The place is clean, efficient, and run like with military precision by the dad. The pollo asada is 🧑🏼‍🍳, the burritos are 💋, an Oooohhhh Emmm Geee those loaded Carne asada crazy fries live up to their name. So much mouth watering flavor that you don't need picante...just loose elastic pants because you will find yourself eating THE. WHOLE.DARNED.THING. 😋 This is a great local takeout/delivery restaurant run by a lovely family that the neighborhood loves supporting.

My husband order 3 tacos de tripas ($10.50), and I order a chimichanga($12.49). The food was amazing, finally a Mexican restaurant with actual Mexican flavor. Staff was very polite and the establishment looked clean. I will totally come back!

Edgebrook neighborhood in Chicago doesn’t necessarily offer wide variety of restaurant options. However, this Mexican restaurant located on its main strip is a good one. Pastor and chile relleno tacos were particularly wonderful as was shrimp cocktail (coctel de camarones). The place is mostly set up for takeout but given that there is a liquor store next door and small outdoor seating area, I would imagine it could also make a good summer time hangout place.

I've been here twice so far and have had most of the tacos (they are all delicious!), The nachos with steak (🤤), and the amazing tres leches! All very great!!! In the photo with 4 tacos, I added my own crema and cotija cheese at home. Again, everything is delicious here!
