“This is a nice restaurant with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly, attentive, and help create a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. The menu has a good variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, including tortas, combination platters, and a wide selection of meat and seafood dishes. Most meals come with refried beans, rice, and a small green salad with onions and avocado, which adds nice value and balance to the plate. Overall, this venue offers good portion sizes, solid variety, and fair value for money. It’s a dependable spot for a satisfying meal in a relaxed setting.”

“Fui de noche pero el ambiente está chído a esas horas aparte el huachinango veracruzano está al cienón!”

“The food was really good I got a steak burrito dinner and the frozen strawberry margarita was on point. But for me the service was excellent. I've never had food come out so fast after our drinks were delivered. We were a table of 4, and when I tell you our server delivered our drinks she was back in under 5mins with our food. Everything was delicious will be coming back!!”

“This is a nice restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive. The menu offers a good variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, with sopes, tortas, combination platters, and plenty of meat and seafood dishes. Most dishes come with a side of refried beans and rice, and a small green salad with onions and avocado. The Juevos Rancheros and Huevos con Chorizo are tasty and plentiful. You can select corn or flour tortillas. I believe you will find that this venue offers a good value for your money.😋”

“I’ve been going to Cocula since I was in high school, but I’ve always visited the Calumet City location. This was my first time trying this location. We came in close to closing time, and although we were welcomed, the service wasn’t the best. My friend tried to order a side of fries, but we were told they could only come as a basket. I asked for some sauce and was told to just use the salsa on the table that came with the chips. When I asked for a refill on my Pepsi, I was also told no. I completely understand that it was close to closing time, but I still feel that when customers are seated and dining in, the service should be a bit more accommodating and hospitable. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning to this location. I’ll likely just continue visiting the Calumet City location, which has always provided a better experience for me.”
“Everything is so yummy. The horchata and birria tacos keep me coming back.”
“Food is always fresh and tasty. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is clean and casual.”
“My favorite is the carne en su jugo and quesabirria tacos con consome. The staff is professional and very nice.”
