I went for tacos 🌮 but I when I saw Lemon Pepper wings on the menu, I had to try them. They were crunchy and delicious! I also had the quesabirria tacos which were satisfying. The service was very quick and attentive!

“I absolutely love this spot.”

I absolutely love this spot. It's my fav for authentic Mexican food. I have the regulars that I buy, but I also like getting introduced to new dishes they offer when you dine in. I git 3 favorite waitresses, and I love how they remember my partner and I (it's probably because we sit at the same table every time we come in). I don't like sharing my favorite spots but this one is worth the share. Fun note: My profile photo is inside of Carmelos at my favorite table 😂

As a native Mexican is nice to see a new building, organized, clean and colorful Mexican restaurant. Today is TACO TUESDAY so I ordered three tacos one chorizo, pastor and chicken. The pastor taco was superior. I love that the tacos come with cucumbers and radishes and off course limes. The salsas are fresh. I also liked they have fresh carrot and orange juices. As a desert I got Mexican flan, delicious! I highly recommend Carmelo’s

If there is a place to recommend in the southwest side it’s definitely Carmelo’s. I have been dinning in and doing take out since they opened and I have to say I have never had a disappointing experience. The place is always clean the staff is always pleasant and helpful. The food is amazing. They give you potato chips with a flavorful sauce. It’s not too spicy because my husband is able to eat them and he dislikes spice. The Carmelo flavored wings are my go to they are a decent size and come with fries. The burgers are perfectly cooked and they are not the simple burgers you see in most Mexican restaurants. They also offer sea food options which are just as amazingly prepared. The asada tacos are also very flavorful. The drinks are PHENOMENAL and they also have drink specials during the week. My most favorite part is the little patio they have and the bathrooms are ALWAYS CLEAN. Ps. They have a kids corner with table games.

First time ordering here, my experience was very pleasant great fast service. I live a around the neighborhood so when I got home food was fresh and hot. We ordered the super nachos very filling tortilla chips tested homemade the meat to beans ratio was fair, nice amount of sourcream, sliced fresh jalapeños, lettuce cheese and price was fair for what you got. We also had the asada "steak" and alpastor "marinated pork" tacos they come with cilantro onion but you can probably get them anyway you want, good flavor and good amount of meat on the tacos. Tried the fresh water they had tamarindo "Tamarind" delicious drink I bought another because I drank the one I bought while waiting. I recommend this place if you want fresh delicious food will be back VERY soon.

The ambiance here is perfect ✨ Absolutely loved the service - they make you feel like family and the staff is super kind and attentive. The food was AMAZING! The torta and steak were tasty, and the coctel was better than most seafood places. I especially loved the potato slices/chips they gave as appetizer instead of the usual and traditional tortilla chips with salsa; added a nice little surprise! I would definitely recommend this place over and over again. Eating here is an experience - great music in the back, amazing art, great food, excellent staff. 10/10

“I recently dined at Carmelo's.”

I recently dined at Carmelo's. While the food was edible, it felt a bit pricey for the experience. I started with a soup flavored with oregano and elbow macaroni, but it needed more salt and chicken stock or bouillon to enhance the flavor. For my main dish, I had the chilaquiles with eggs and a side of asada, which was unfortunately a bit tough and fatty. My coworkers ordered burritos but mentioned that, in the future, they’d prefer to eat at a spot down the block. The service was friendly, and while the server primarily spoke Spanish, it added an authentic touch to the atmosphere. Overall, it wasn’t a place that left me eager to return.

Went there on a Wednesday, the waitress was super friendly the place looks really nice and clean. Got a torta and burrito de asada as well as a guacamole. The torta was really good except that I would like a little bit more of meat on it, the burrito on the other hand was so delicious. The guacamole was super salty and I feel like is fake guac. Over all is a really nice place to get some good food and stay for the drinks
