“Outstanding food and service.”
Outstanding food and service. We decided to stop here on a whim, great choice. They had a mini appetizer, which was great. Fresh made to order guacamole, and hot fresh chips! The steak burrito and steak tacos were outstanding and well seasoned. Definitely will be back.

“Who doesn't know Nuevo Leon? Chicago's most famous restaurant that has always shown amazing hospitality.”
Who doesn't know Nuevo Leon? Chicago's most famous restaurant that has always shown amazing hospitality. I met the owners. They are the sweetest people around. I love the Caldo de res (Soup). Omg. Amazing. Not served on the weekends, but that's okay, because I go on the weekdays too. I'm actually here now as I'm writing this. Let's show support for this wonderful place that serves great food and owned by hard working people care. I love them. We even did a Birthday here. So much fun.

“First, the service was outstanding.”
First, the service was outstanding. The people are friendly and the food comes out quickly. I had the carne asada tostadas and my Grandma and Aunt had the Caldo de Res and both were amazing. The cheesecake is phenomenal: This is our second time here and we will definitely be back.

“OMG...this place is the place to go for authentic Mexican food.”
OMG...this place is the place to go for authentic Mexican food. I would always eat at there 18 Street location so eating here brought me back to the familiar taste of the refried beans and rice. Their flour tortillas have a unique taste. My daughter had the chicken tostadas and I had the tacos de Sabinas. My daughter said, " Best tostadas ever!". As for me.....it brought me back to the comfort food I started to eat visiting Nuevo Leon as a little girl. You have to try this place out. I drove over an hour to get here but it was so worth it. Parking spot are limited in the front of the restaurant, but there is more on the left side of the building.

“Don't walk...RUN to this new little gem in Westchester.”
Don't walk...RUN to this new little gem in Westchester! The scent of homemade ( like Abuela's kitchen) Mexican food. The very quaint atmosphere is overwhelmed only by the fabulous aromas emanating from the kitchen. Sizzling sounds, fragrant smells took me back to my Abuela's table. Homestyle salsas only compliment their extraordinary meals. Friendly faces & services with a smile & Weekend specials of Menudo & Barbacoa are on the menu & prices are affordable. So if you're in the mood for authentic, please visit this newest of eateries in Westchester, Cafe Nuevo Leon !
