Open super late on the weekends and serving truly amazing Mexican food, Allende is a staple of the neighborhood and a true gem! Came here around 1am on a Friday, place was packed but we were able to order and get a table promptly. Food was ready in less than 10 minutes, my steak burrito was massive, packed with meat, and super flavorful. There's nothing fancy about the place, it feels almost like an old school diner but serving up some truly awesome tacos, burritos, and nachos. Their salsas are also killer and prices are super reasonable!

The carne asada burritos were incredibly flavorful, and the nachos were some of the best I've ever had, loaded with delicious toppings. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the service was friendly. Highly recommended for anyone craving great Mexican food! It does have a little hole in the wall vibe but I think it adds to the experience.

Me and my girlfriend love this spot and we go almost every weekend! Such flavorful and yummy food. I love the steak tacos and she loves the veggie tacos!! The rice and beans are amazing too. And Maria is the friendliest lady ever!!! Highly recommend

“What a pleasant surprise.”

What a pleasant surprise! Randomly walking down the street we saw many taco places, Allende seemed the most local and authentic. We ordered burritos, tacos and chips w/salsa to go. It was ready quickly and inside the bag was everything we needed including extra salsa. Taste? Probably one of the best burritos I’ve ever had. I didn’t expect it but it was excellent in taste, texture and portion size. Don’t let the simple appearance dissuade you, and remember that Oz Park is 3 steps away and makes for great picnics!

Look, Allende is a simple no frills establishment. The food is solid, the prices are cheap, and there’s really not much else about it. It wasn’t crowded at all while people were waiting forever down the street, so all things considered this is a great place to stop by.
