Everything was wonderful! Let’s start off with the service. I wasn’t very familiar with the different types of sauces and they offered me a sample of each to try in order to help me to decide which sauce to select for my meal. Everything came out fast, and the staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and efficient. NOEL AND JOVANA were SUPERB! They showed us pictures of everything and explained all of the options and we really enjoyed the food. It was very good. Everything was cooked perfectly, well seasoned, but not over seasoned, but still light. We live in the neighborhood and will definitely come back again. Everything was fantastic!

Stumbled upon this little place while walking through the neighborhood. We live in California and eat Mexican food a lot but this place had some items I've never heard of. It was SO GOOD!!!! I only wish we had one where we live so we could go back often. Service was fast and everyone nice. When we're back in Chicago we will most definitely go back. I definitely recommend this place

Stopped by hoping they had a Bloody Mary and im so happy I did! So delicious, a hint of lime and spice. Selena 🎵 playing when I walked in. I didn’t have enough time to enjoy the food but I’ll be back. Very kind staff and welcoming in a cozy but spacious environment.

Excellent addition to the Hyde Park restaurant scene! The original 5 Rabanitos is in Pilsen and this one has all the positives of that location! Their Cochinita Pibil is the best this side of the Yucutan Peninsula, their torta de Barbacoa was excellent, and their Mexican street corn was delicious! Best Mexican restaurant in Chicago!

so excited to have good mexican food in hyde park. went in the middle of the afternoon on sunday and the place was packed! 🤯 our server was very friendly & attentive despite it being so busy. i tried the street elotitos, chips y salsa, al pastor taco, carne asada taco, beef barbacoa taco, and flan. everything was pretty decent, but i thought the tacos were amazing. super flavorful and delicious. would probably skip the apps next time and just order more tacos
