“One of the tastiest Mediterranean bowls I’ve had yet.”
One of the tastiest Mediterranean bowls I’ve had yet! The spicy feta and yogurt flavors were great and staff were friendly. Price is a little steep for a bowl, but worth it.

“Overall, I enjoyed Pitaki.”
Overall, I enjoyed Pitaki! The first time I visited, I had a bowl and it was absolutely delicious and had great flavor. The second time, I tried a wrap and found it a bit underwhelming in comparison. I think Pitaki is a solid spot, especially if you find the menu items that work best for your taste. I’d definitely go back, but I’ll be sticking to the bowls!

“We ordered two spicy siren wraps which were customizable.”
We ordered two spicy siren wraps which were customizable. The wrap was much bigger than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. Toppings were generous and overall, very flavorful. Definitely need a fork and many napkins! Good bang for your buck in west loop.

“I’m really torn with this review.”
I’m really torn with this review. I’ll start with the positives: The interior was cute and clean, the staff was all very polite and efficient, the food presentation was nice, flavors were decent although not really authentic The negatives: Price for potion size is not great. The Spicy Siren looked great, but unfortunately, the other reviews are correct- the chicken was super fatty, primarily skin and had a lot of gristle. It was honestly difficult to eat and I spit out multiple bites. There is not even a remote hint of spice so the name should be reconsidered or the recipe needs a sever overhaul. The pita and hummus spread on it were both delicious though. I also ordered the Avgolemono Soup. The soup was pretty good flavor wise but did not taste even close to authentic, there was the slightest hint of lemon which is usually a primary flavor in the soup. It also had chunks of the fatty/gristly chicken that I picked out. I was very hopeful for this place because it’s close to my work but unfortunately I’m not certain I would ever eat it again because I spent $20 on a meal that was mostly inedible.

“We ate at Pitaki today, and ordered the Colossus Pita, Spicy Siren Pita, and the zucchini appetizer.”
We ate at Pitaki today, and ordered the Colossus Pita, Spicy Siren Pita, and the zucchini appetizer. The pitas were good but could have used much more flavor. They were quite bland. The zucchini looked like they'd been sitting in oil. They were very soggy and the breading was completely soaked in oil. It was a disappointing experience. 3 stars because the pitas were edible.

“I decided to give Pitaki a whirl with a takeout order.”
I decided to give Pitaki a whirl with a takeout order. I went for their much-lauded "Spicy Siren" – sounded promising, right? And honestly, it actually hit the spot in a big way. It felt genuinely healthy, which is a win in my book, and totally satisfied. Now, about the "spicy" part of the "Spicy Siren"... let's just say it was more of a gentle whisper than a fiery scream. A bit of a misnomer, perhaps? Still tasty, though. Despite the spice MIA, the overall experience was solid enough that I'm definitely planning a return trip. There are other intriguing items on that menu calling my name, and I'm curious to see what else Pitaki has up its sleeve. Stay tuned for round two!

“Wrap was delicious but this side of Tzatziki being $6 and getting approx 12 curds for $9 is a crime lol.”

It’s alright… the pita is decent, the chicken is a little dry but seasoned well. There just wasn’t a ton of flavor overall.

“Got Harvest salad with added grilled halumi, paid $21 which is steep but it is west loop.”
Got Harvest salad with added grilled halumi, paid $21 which is steep but it is west loop. What I didn’t expect is to find that portion is really small and some greens shouldn’t even be used for the salad, withered and slimy. Very disappointing quality, I hope you can take this feedback and improve.
