“Wanted ceviche late at night and this place was open. Very friendly staff that wants you to enjoy their hospitality and good food. The ceviche was good and the portion is generous. They brought an extra flan on the house which was a special gesture. Will be back for the food and the amazing service equally”

The owner (I think) came out and let us know they just opened 5 months ago so come out and welcome them to the neighborhood! They’re open late too ❤️”

“Brand new-ish Mexican restaurant that specializes in seafood. Tried both of their ceviches, their seafood cocktail, and shrimp soup. The food is way better than I can describe it. The taste is authentic, the salsa will make you sweat, but the variety of amazing looking food may cause you over order like we did. Our little corner of Irving Park/Albany Park needed something a little different and Mariscos Rio Balsas is definitely it. We were headed to Garcia’s and came here instead. Maybe it’s a new neighborhood favorite.”
