“The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly. We sat in a private little alcove that was cozy and private- you have to go up a small set of steps to reach the space. There is a bell to call for service and we enjoyed a view of the restaurant from above. We had ramen and small plates of tempura, squid tentacles, gyoza, bao bun and pork belly on skewers. Everything was delicious and we’re definitely coming back for more.”

“We had great service, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was neat. I appreciated the Asian inspired design elements.”

“Beautiful place. Good food and great service. The beef ramen was really tasty. And everything we ordered came out quickly. So if you are looking for great Japanese food and are also running short of time, this is a great option (or if you have a lot of time also)”

“We ordered 2 combo for 4 people. The combo came with popcorn chicken and 2 bowl of ramen. The tonkotsu and miso were both excellent. However what surprise me was the desserts. The matcha dessert was very well received!”

“I liked the Kyushu Tonkotsu Shio Ramen more than the Tonkotsu Shouyu Ramen that I ordered last time. The Amazing Lemonade is as amazing as before.”

“Love it here, it’s a different kind of vibe. Servers are friendly. Good amount of food. I can recommend it with family, lovers and friends.”

“Amazing food service. Loved the popcorn chicken with the sauce. Great place to catch up with someone and eat delicious food :)”

“Best ramen I’ve had outside Japan. I ordered the chicken ramen. The chicken was full of flavor and seasoned perfectly. The noodles had a nice chewy texture to them. Our servers were amazing and very attentive. Will definitely be back.”

“One of the more unique feeling Ramen spots in the city. Very cool look and vibe inside. They have a great special with appetizer, drink, noodles, and dessert. Seemed a great value. Also have some of the most cocktail and sake options around. I got the signature Tokyo style Garlic Tonkatsu. The flavors were deep and very well developed. The pork was tender, but more thinly sliced than my preference. More of a style thing. Definitely recommend trying them out!”

“This is the best and most authentic Japanese Ramen I have had in a long time. Absolutely delicious, tastes and feels like you’re in Japan. Best part is there is a chicken, beef, and vegan Ramen option so all your friends can take part in Ramen dinner. The yakitori skewers were also on point. Sweet chilli wings were a sleeper hit, don’t skip. Passion fruit tea was delicious, excellent ratio of fruit, aloe jelly, and passion fruit flavor. Would happily return the next time Ramen cravings hit.”

“I heard about Kyuramen thanks to Chicago Restaurant Week. When we went, we got the $30 lunch per person. The portion sizes, taste, presentation, and waiter service were incredible. I would also like to thank the waiter, Boom, they were knowledgeable and helped us with a great restaurant experience. Definitely a must place to go!”
