“I’ve been wanting to try this place and I’m glad I got to check it out.”
I’ve been wanting to try this place and I’m glad I got to check it out. The banchans were really good and fresh. I tried two of their appetizers and loved them as well - the Korroke was hot and crispy and the vegetable dumplings were yummy as well. The Kalbi was tender and had a lot of flavor to it as well. I’m glad I tried it out and am excited to try more things in the future. Personally I didn’t like the milk tea - it was too sweet with no visible option to change the sweetness level and it just didn’t taste good to me. There’s lots of searing options and the restaurant is set up kinda like a self serve place. There’s things available like sauce, extra plates/utensils for people to use and they will all bring you your food like a traditional sit down restaurant does.

“Soul Bites is hands down one of the best Mexican–Korean fusion spots in Chicago.”
Soul Bites is hands down one of the best Mexican–Korean fusion spots in Chicago. The food is next-level—bold flavors, perfectly balanced, and honestly some of the best taste I’ve had in the city. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff was warm, humble, and genuinely kind, making the whole experience feel welcoming and effortless. Customer service here is clearly a priority, and it shows. Overall, Soul Bite sets the bar high in both quality and hospitality. Easily one of the best restaurants in the area. I’d confidently recommend it to all my family and friends. Big kudos to the entire team—keep doing what you’re doing. 🔥🌮🇰🇷

We ordered the Korean fried rice, Korean chicken wings and dolsot bibimbap - every item was delicious and arrived at our table in about ten minutes. The wings were piping hot, flavorful and crunchy. The bibimbap arrived sizzling in a stone bowl - the rice stayed warm the whole time. And the beef in the fried rice had unique Korean spices. The atmosphere was also serene. Serving size is huge - two people can share one dish. A large service charge added to bill.

Seol Bite is quickly becoming one of the best spots in the suburbs, adding a true Korean bite to the growing food scene. The food is amazing, and the staff goes the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience. The place is clean, neat, and has a cozy environment with unique décor that makes you want to come back. The ramen was perfectly balanced with soft noodles, and the marinated ribs were the clear winner of the night. Overall, the portions were just right, the flavors on point, and it’s definitely worth the money—not overpriced at all.

“Came looking for Halal Korean BBQ and left stuffed, happy, ready to come another day.”
Came looking for Halal Korean BBQ and left stuffed, happy, ready to come another day. I love the convenience of ordering at the table and diving in to the food when it arrives. The Kalbi, Chicken wings, and Katsu were fantastic. Definitely a place that hits the that sweet, spicy, BBQ itch.

“Seoul Bites in Lombard is a hidden gem offering a fresh, modern take on Korean comfort food.”
Seoul Bites in Lombard is a hidden gem offering a fresh, modern take on Korean comfort food. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and welcoming, with a self-order QR system and a halal-friendly menu—plus a prayer room, which was a thoughtful touch. We went on a Wednesday night, and it was packed with families after 7 p.m.—always a good sign! The Honey Pineapple Chicken Wings were incredible—sweet, tangy, and perfectly crispy. My husband enjoyed the Seafood Pancake, loaded with mussels, squid, clams, and shrimp. He also loved the Chicken Cheese Tteokbokki, smothered in gooey mozzarella and spicy sauce. I tried the Dolsot Bibimbap, which was delicious fresh but didn’t reheat well. Overall, Seoul Bites is officially on my 2025 International Food Challenge list. If you're a fan of bold flavors, spicy dishes, and casual vibes, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

“Great taste, the food is truly on another level.”
Great taste, the food is truly on another level. The short ribs were incredible: fall-off-the-bone tender and full of flavor. The veggie noodles came with an unexpected mayo-style sauce that actually worked really well with the dish. Everything is halal, which is a big plus. The atmosphere was thoughtfully designed. the green and wood tones really complement the space and give it a modern yet cozy vibe. The only drawback was the mandatory gratuity added to the receipt. It doesn’t quite make sense when you’re ordering on your own and handling many of the tasks typically done by a server. I can see that being a downside for some especially since it’s a bit pricey per dish. That said, it’s hard to find food like this. I’ll definitely be coming back and bringing family with me!

Tried Seoul Bites in Lombard IL and absolutely loved it! A hidden gem for Korean halal food in the Chicago suburbs. We had the bulgogi and kimchi — both were amazing! The flavors were authentic and fresh. I loved the kimchi so much I asked for it 2-3 times! 😄 The service was excellent, and the staff made the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for delicious halal Korean food. Will be coming back!
