“Highly recommend this restaurant.”

Highly recommend this restaurant! We ordered the Mother's Signature Hanjeongsik ($119.95), which is a set menu for two. Hanjeongsik is a traditional Korean dining with many different small dishes. If you're new to Korean food, I suggest trying bulgogi or BBQ, but this menu was a good choice for us. Each dish was beautifully plated (as shown in my photos/videos), with two portions. The flavors were excellent, and the dish's plating was beautiful, clean, and elegant. The restaurant has an elegant atmosphere, and our server was very friendly and kind. The only thing I would like to point out is that someone tried to clear some dishes a bit early while we were still enjoying them; it seemed like a simple misunderstanding. It would be nicer if everything was cleared after we finished paying. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I'd be happy to come back again!

💯 💯 💯 Place was amazingly good!! The kalbi (short rib) was so juicy and tender, had a delicious marinade and you could tell it was very high quality. Shrimp and salmon were excellent as well. All the sides, especially the kimchi were phenomenal. The service was phenomenal from start to finish and the restaurant decor is very cool. There are plenty of Japanese restaurants around but there are zero Korean and definitely no Korean bbq. What an absolute gem! Highly recommended! 👍🏼👍🏼

“This was a perfect place for a date.”

This was a perfect place for a date. My wife and I get a weekend night a month and this place was perfect for us. The vibe was welcoming and modern, the service was impeccable. "Joy" was our server. She guided us through our first visit with care and enthusiasm. We/she cooked our dinner at the table... And what a cool experience! The meat provided was top quality and the sides matched perfectly! We loved the meal and experience. We will be back. Thank you for a wonderful date night!

I’m usually skeptical of all positive reviews on a new-ish restaurant (it’s been open for 6 months) but you can believe these for sure. Went last night and had an amazing meal. As a Korean, I’m pretty picky with my Korean food — the service, food and ambience are all fantastic. Most Korean places in the NW suburbs are all small mom-and-pop style joints; this one is modern, more upscale, and polished (though more $$). Authentic flavors and the seasoning on everything was perfect honestly (no fusion here thankfully 🤞🏻). Banchan is very well done and a good representation of high quality Korean banchan, short rib bbq was super tender, and we couldn’t resist by ending with some red bean shaved ice (Korean summer dessert staple - wish there was more milk in it though). Definitely leave room for dessert!! Also highly recommend the soju flight and the makgeolli flight, especially if you’ve never tried any! Cocktails looked interesting, too. We will be back to try other foods! Highly recommend!!!
