“Iron Age Korean BBQ in Glenview is definitely a unique experience and worth checking out if you’re into K-BBQ.”
Iron Age Korean BBQ in Glenview is definitely a unique experience and worth checking out if you’re into K-BBQ. For $29 per person, you get unlimited meat brought straight to your table, and you grill it yourself - fun and super satisfying. They’ve got a big variety of meats. Our favorites were the beef bulgogi (easily the standout), the seasoned steak (also really good), and the Iron Age soy beef steak, which had great flavor. We also tried the lemon chicken - it was just okay, didn’t really stand out compared to the others. Don’t be fooled into thinking you can power through unlimited rounds - we thought we could eat way more, but once you’re into your third meat, you feel it. It’s definitely filling! They offer sides too. A lot of people recommended the spicy rice cakes, so we gave them a shot, but honestly, we didn’t like the texture - kind of spongy and not our thing. I’d personally skip those next time. The atmosphere is something else — loud K-pop music videos projected all around, almost like eating in a club. We actually liked the high-energy vibe, but it’s definitely not for everyone. If you’re looking for a quiet dinner, this might not be your scene. They also serve different types of radish as sides at the table, and I personally loved those. Again, that might be hit or miss depending on your taste. My family didn’t like it. Service was top-notch — super friendly staff who kept things moving and checked in often. Just a heads-up: you can’t make a reservation, and this place gets busy. We had to wait about 40 minutes on a weekend night, but it still felt totally worth it. Overall, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try — great food, fun experience, and solid service. Just go hungry and maybe bring a little patience for the wait!

“I had an amazing first experience at Iron Age in Glenview.”
I had an amazing first experience at Iron Age in Glenview! Everything from the atmosphere to the food was fantastic. The Hawaiian-style beef was a standout—perfectly marinated, tender, and packed with flavor. The rice cakes were also incredibly tasty—chewy, crispy, and addictive! I want to give a special shout-out to our server, J.O., who was absolutely phenomenal. Super attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was running smoothly the entire time. Service like that really elevates a meal! I was actually introduced to Iron Age by my son—it’s his favorite place to eat, and now I can absolutely see why. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, flavorful, and satisfying Korean BBQ experience!

“A rocking Korean BBQ restaurant.”
A rocking Korean BBQ restaurant. Friendly and reasonable priced. Restaurant offers a variety of meats and misc. If you like Korean pork and beef, this is the place. What I was impressed with was my server. I think her name is Nagira. Apologize for the misspelling. If she did not educate me on the ins and outs, my time here would be frustrated. She was unbelievable, friendly, and patient with me. Because now I know what to look for, I will come back. Keep it up.

We took a break from our Squid Games binge to grab lunch here. 😂 We really loved the food and cocktails. I highly recommend the mango Soju. The ambiance was fun and lively with giant screens showing a variety of 80's and 90's hits.

Korean stake did not disappointed, everything was delicious, side dishes and salad. We made our own wraps. $30+ per person was great for all what we eat. Great music and videos on the big screens.

“This is what one of the few places that got a 5-stars from me.”
This is what one of the few places that got a 5-stars from me. For $29.95 it’s all you can eat dinner buffet. Lunch is only $24.99. The steaks, meats and seafood are very high quality considering how little they charge. They aren’t trying to slow down your orders so you don’t eat as much, our waiter is always around asking if we wanted more meats, drinks and side dishes. It’s all you can eat baby!!! There are plenty of quality seafood and meats to choose from. The music videos gets louder as the night gets going, if you want a quiet slow meal, this isn’t your place.
