“Drove from western suburbs for authentic K-BBQ.”

Drove from western suburbs for authentic K-BBQ. We shared Combo B platter with kalbi, bulgogi , pork belly and thinly sliced beef (no picture). The marinade and qualify of meat gets a solid “A”. We also shared a bowl of doenngjjang jigae. I did most of the grilling as I enjoy it. But owners are super friendly! We will be back soon Pro Tip: She suggested dipping the cooked thin slices into the salad dressing. Game changer !

My husband and I stopped by this gem and were so glad we did. The food was delicious, but the service was even better. The owner was extremely sweet to chat with us, and even stuck around to see our baby girl after she woke up. She loved the food too! Next time we’re in town, we will absolutely stop by here. Sun did an amazing job making use feel like her family eating a meal at her house. She played games with and made us feel welcome. We were turned away due to a false cancelation at Koreana down the street and Sun at 92 town Korean BBQ welcomed us in with open arms and amazing service. Will be eating here again.

Some of us in our group were vegetarian, and this place exceeded our expectation with the many vegetarian options that they had. We thoroughly enjoyed along with our meat eating friends. They also accommodated allergies. They used separate grill for seafood as one of us had shell fish allergy. The service was very good. Our waitresses name was Sun, She was very helpful with giving us vegetarian menu options. What you see in the photo are vegetarian sticky pancake, veg dumplings, veg glass noodles, and ofcourse kimchi, etc, in addition to this there were plenty of sea food, poultry and meat options

You know that one scene in ratatouille where the food critic eats a bite and remembers his mother's cooking? It is like that, and they are so nice! Probably my favorite spot in all of Chicago to go when I'm off work on a Thursday. Don't ruin it for me and come all at once.

Excellent authentic food with attentive and knowledgeable staff, and good vibes all around. Definitely worth coming out from the city; this is the best authentic Korean food in the Chicago area. I'll definitely be coming back to try out the rest of the menu. The meats are excellent (we liked Combo B), but as a former vegetarian, I can say they have great vegetarian options too. Definitely try the side dishes too to get the full experience. We particularly liked the rice cakes, seafood pancake, and Banchan. The alcohol Makgeoli (ancient traditional unfiltered rice wine) was great too, especially if you want to try something unique and traditional. Gamsahabnida!

“When we walked in, I sensed good energy right away.”

When we walked in, I sensed good energy right away! We ordered so much food (Combo B, Steamed Egg, etc) and it was all beyond delicious. For so much food, the price was really good, especially with quality meat! To my surprise, our waitress, makes all the food here and it’s family-owned and operated. A complete 10/10, a great spot to come hangout with family, friends, and loved ones for a quality meal and a fun but serene atmosphere! Everyone was so lovely and between the food and the people it was so comforting! 🫶
