A huge selection, great atmosphere and attentive staff. Some of the best, perfectly made items I've had for a long time. The pork rib was totally amazing. It's great to take people who aren't into sushi (er huh) so they have something great too. Can't say how awesome the staff was. Wasn't too busy, so hopefully they keep it up during busy times. Definitely worth a stop!

The yam mash on guacamole was extremely good. All the Japanese barbecue was amazing! Pricing for 4, we ate a lot of sushi, was $258! Try it out and you'll be pleased.

We had a reservation at 830 and showed up a few minutes and the host was incredibly attentive and made sure that we were sat exactly where we wanted. After being sat we were immediately greeted by our waitress and given water. Service was AMAZING! I ordered a speciality cocktail with flowers in its name, and it was incredible. My husband had their Union Old Fashioned and he loved. We were really impressed with one of their new sushi chef’s from Mongolia. He made some amazing rolls for us! Atmosphere was great, music was a complete vibe as well

I’ve been meaning to review this restaurant but keep forgetting. Here goes. We absolutely look forward to dining here every time we visit Chicago. This is our go-to place. The various specialty rolls and sashimi dishes are great. Top it off with delicious BBQ skewers and some great sake and we’ve got an evening that everyone loves. The staff is friendly and efficient. It can get a little loud inside the restaurant at times but the noise level has not stopped us from coming here.

It’s a creative place with a variety of interesting dishes. Their cocktails are some of the best I’ve had in the USA. Their grill tastes like a real charcoal grill which is an extremely rare and pleasant surprise for me. But. The food is worse than I would want from a place with these prices. Short rib skewer, despite tasting like a charcoal grill, was unchewable. Some of nigiris that we had were too cold and watery, like how just recently unfrozen fish would feel. They have a lot of space to improve, but I still think it’s 5 stars, and I will definitely come back.
