Nikko Sushi Izakaya — dependable japanese in Wicker Park. The space has a modern, polished edge. Cocktail menu runs deeper than expected. Angie Huang: "The tuna tartare was incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned—light, delicate, and packed with flavor"

“and I love those genres, but the music was so trash”
The atmosphere and service were really friendly.
Overall the atmosphere and ambiance were pretty good, but the food was absolutely horrendous.
told the server of my shellfish allergy. ordered 3 rolls with only one having a crab omission.

Just came here and the food was amazing, the service was great too. We totally forgot to take pictures of the food and only remembered after we were done eating, so we asked our server to check our order so we could take photos 😂 Lol. We were so full it was hard to walking !!

“First time and damn good.”
First time and damn good. Went for all you can eat sushi 🍣😋, $32.99 I think. The food was so good and fresh, if expect nothing less from a restaurant like this. 3 floors. Plenty of paid street parking, go early or make reservations as Nikko fills up fast. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Great for date nights or dinner with the family. We ate on the lower level during this visit. The music that was playing was extremely annoying, it was bad techno, dance, house music ... and I love those genres, but the music was so trash. Other than that fabulous experience.

“This place is amazing.”
This place is amazing. If you’ve ever been to a all you can eat sushi you know it takes a while to get your food. Not here! The signature rolls were great and usually we don’t finish everything bout we ordered 3 appetizers 4 regular rolls and four signature rolls. Between me and my girl we devoured it. And we had room for Ube flavored ice cream!

“My friends told me about Nikko Sushi Izakaya and honestly it lived up to the hype.”
My friends told me about Nikko Sushi Izakaya and honestly it lived up to the hype. The place is huge I’m not even sure if it’s 2 or 3 floors, but it’s definitely bigger than I expected. It was my first time there and the server was super helpful walking me through the menu, which I appreciated. My favorites were the Godzilla, the seasonal catch, and especially the Walu Tataki so good. Definitely a spot I’d go back to

“Quality AYCE sushi.”
Quality AYCE sushi. I’m a foodie. I love good authentic quality sushi. The rice and vinegar mix is up to par. Rice vs fish amount and perfect sized. The quality and creativity of the rolls and appetizers high grade. If you like the Americanized version sushi they have a few rolls that have cream cheese and other cooked food. If you want your true authentic they have a good list of that too. You can even order Uni and sweet shrimp on the side for advanced sushi lovers like me. All for only $32.99 for dinner. Location is great and love the 3 levels inside. Waitress came around the right amount of times as well. Worth trying.

One of the best—if not the best—all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants in Chicago! I've been back a few times and just can’t seem to get enough. I loved everything from the food to the service, and even the ambiance. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

“32 bucks for AYCE for fish that is actually fresh and they have fatty tuna on their appetizer menu.”
32 bucks for AYCE for fish that is actually fresh and they have fatty tuna on their appetizer menu. i like the dragon on fire, and tuna appetizers the most. Great value and quality. I also enjoyed the house music, contemporary interior design, and how they bring out a chilled glass for beer just like in japan.

“My family and I came here for lunch and had a wonderful experience.”
My family and I came here for lunch and had a wonderful experience. For starters, the restaurant was very clean and comfortable. The waiters and waitress were kind and quick to offer help. The waitress who waited on our table was extremely friendly. We had our three young children with us and she was very accomodating, even offering practice chopsticks for the older children. The food was fresh and was served quickly. The fish tasted fresh and the rolls were of generous size. The appetizers were delicious as well. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this place to our friends and family.
