Horrible experience. Would never return. Looked at dozens of possible restaurants for our Anniversary on 12-31-2025.
My wife and I walked passed this so many times and the reviews were always mixed, but nevertheless we tried it anyhow.
This restaurant was in our hotel and it was late so it was convenient for us to pop in for a late night snack.

We had dinner at Lure Fishbar, and it was a truly pleasant discovery. We ordered the KENAI MAKI, LURE HOUSE MAKI, BURGER “BASH STYLE”, and CRAB CAKE — everything was exceptionally fresh, high quality, and delicious. It’s clear that the kitchen operates at a high level and pays close attention to detail. The atmosphere deserves special mention: calm, stylish, with great music — perfect both for a cozy dinner and a relaxed evening with friends. It’s easy to unwind here and simply enjoy the moment. The prices fully match the quality of the food and service, and our overall impression was entirely positive. Definitely a place you’ll want to come back to again.

“Blown away by this restaurant.”
Blown away by this restaurant. We’re staying in Hotel 55 over NYE which is attached and my husband had oysters for his breakfast hahah he loved everything. I came alone for dinner and the Maine-style lobster roll was spectacular with unique slaw and warm kettle chips. The bun was crazy good and lovely service paired with beautiful ambiance. So happy

If I could, I’d give this place a 10! The service was outstanding, the food absolutely amazing, and the seating area was beautiful. We truly enjoyed every moment we spent here. It may be a fish bar, but their ravioli was superb—highly recommend!

I came back for the second night:)) food is excellent, service is the best and the atmosphere is so perfect for date night. Loved everything. I am visiting from Los Angeles and first night I had food at a different restaurant! This is a must go to restaurant👌👌👌everything is freshly made and delicious. I had fish the first night 👌👌👌second night I had the lobster roll 👌👌👌 the sorbet is the best for serxsrt and they have a great selection of wine ♥️♥️♥️

Great service and excellent food. Wonderful ambiance, too, as it's adjacent to the 21c Museum Hotel, which is both a boutique hotel and funky art gallery. Lure is a great spot for a laid-back/casual dinner or an elegant date night. I had steamed red snapper it was simply amazing. Will be back for sure.

Stopped in for lunch and had a great time. Got the lunch special + oysters and crab claws and I can't recommend those enough. I left very very full. Great option for seafood. Beautiful place too.

Fantastic Happy Hour Experience at Lure Fishbar - Chicago! We had a wonderful time at Lure Fishbar during their happy hour (every day from 4 PM to 6 PM, including weekends). Our server, Alex, was excellent—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had a great experience. Ashley, the manager, was also very welcoming and professional. The Blue Point oysters were a steal at just $2 each, and they were absolutely delicious! I also had the clam chowder, which was rich and flavorful. I tried the Kenai roll with sushi salmon—it was good, but next time, I’d probably skip the rolls and stick to oysters. Paired everything with a glass of champagne—perfection! The restaurant has a beautiful design and a great atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. Parking can be a bit tricky, but it’s worth it. Plus, the building also houses a hotel with a stunning free art exhibition spread across two floors—definitely worth checking out! Highly recommend visiting Lure Fishbar—especially for happy hour!

This was a wonderful experience! Richard our server was charming and helpful. Menu is extensive on the fish side which I loved. We tried several rolls. Sashimi and the Asian Snapper. Everything was amazing. The wine list is also impressive, don’t forget the sake! The decor was really inviting and seating comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Tried dinner, lunch, brunch, and happy hour all during a long weekend here. The Oscuro cocktail was divine, the salmon and branzino was amazing, the benedicts were fab. Lovely place for all the things!

We stayed at the 21C museum hotel and we had lunch, dinner, and breakfast twice while we were here..all the food was delightful and the service couldn’t have been better! Will definitely come back on our next visit to Chicago!
