“The food was actually so gas if your just looking for rolls I’d definitely recommend I got the Chicago fire, Dragon, and crunchy tuna. The miso soup is rly good too.”

“Cute homey place, good food with good portions. The server was polite. We had the rainbow roll, edamame and green tea. The little half orange with little swords they brought with the bill was cute and delicious , it put a smile on our faces. Its a byob”

“Good soup, very nice sushi, and VERY generous ice cream portions!❤️ Happy find, and will be back if we are back in Chicago in the future 😁🤗”

“Great Japanese restaurant with a fun all you can eat deal ($32.90) that has a lot of variety, including red bean ice cream. We were able to get a table after a short wait on a Friday, and the service (from Mia) was excellent!”

“Servers were super friendly, food came out quick”

“Kai Sushi is such a nice, cozy place! I really like the atmosphere and the friendly customer service. They also have lovely outdoor seating, which makes the experience even better. One of my favorite appetizers is the cucumber salad — it’s so refreshing! I was also surprised by how delicious their matcha ice cream was. I’m usually not a matcha fan, but this one completely changed my mind. The staff is super sweet and welcoming”

“Kai Sushi is really nice place to eat. The sushi always fresh and taste really good. I like the rolls and the nigiri, everything is made nice. Staff very friendly and service is pretty quick. I come here often and it always nice to have a meal here.”

“Love this place! Second time eating here and each time, have had quick friendly attentive service and great sushi! Love the Wednesday special to get 50% off of dine in sushi too! Please keep that perk and all the combinations of sushi you have on the menu! Can’t wait to return!”

“Excellent miso and lovely vibes inside. It’s nice to get to watch the kitchen from the dining room. Watching sushi being rolled out fresh is a lot of fun. Would love to try some of the specials next time.”

“10/10!! Our usual sushi spot was closed for lunch so we came around the corner to this place. I had low expectations for this place but they certainly went above and beyond. First off, the staff is very nice and welcoming. The sushi is just phenomenal! I was very impressed with the quality of the food for the price. Might have to make this one our new usual! We got the spider roll, dragon roll, caterpillar roll, spicy crab roll, Philadelphia roll, and lobster mania.”
