Absolutely loved this place. My husband and I came here while traveling, and it's some of the best sushi we've had. Very fresh sushi. We even came back a second time. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was romantic, and establishment clean. The two rolls we got the first time we went were the Rolling Dirty and Yakuza. They weren't drowned in sauces so you could really taste how delicious the fish were. Flavors were amazing.

Friends Sushi is such a gem! We stumbled upon it while shopping and I’m so glad we did! It’s super cozy and vibey inside, perfect for a relaxed date night! The sushi was super fresh and flavorful, everything we ordered hit. Service was amazing too! From the moment we walked in everyone was really friendly and attentive. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. Can’t wait to come back and bring friends next time! 🍣🍸

This place is great! It’s very cozy and ambient inside, the spring roll and gyoza were delicious and the spicy salmon roll as well! I definitely recommend coming here for sushi if you’re looking for a spot

Unique in all good ways. Super friendly staff and the food was truly memorable. The “Can you handle it?” roll is not to be missed! The fried miso cauliflower appetizer was stupendous. Really cute place, too.

A sushi skeptic turned believer !! I used to hate sushi - really, I just didn’t get it. But friend’s sushi in Chicago completely changed my mind. The food was fresh and flavourful, and the ambience was beautiful and calming. For the first time. I genuinely enjoyed sushi . Highly recommend!

This place is super cute and has a few non sushi dishes, making it an excellent option when your whole party isn’t set on sushi. The seasonal cocktail with rose was perfectly balanced— clear rose flavors, but it worked with the cocktail.

Good service, got here for late lunch and despite being almost empty, they were super attentive and quick. Gun, the sushi chef, went above and beyond and prepared some outstanding dishes! Fish is fresh, so you will get good sushi here!

Delicious sushi, terrific service & cute, cozy atmosphere. The spicy miso soup, “can you handle it” roll and jalepeno tequila drink were all great. We also loved the tempura cauliflower appetizer-the sauce is so good. Will definitely return when in the neighborhood.

“During walking around Chicago we find this place.”

During walking around Chicago we find this place. We were at first time in this city and tried to find place to take new food experience. So, this place it was a good choice. Staff was kind and positive. They found a good table for us. We got some recommendations about the menu’s positions and order some different dishes. Everything was a very tasty and some options were extremely fusion. In overall, it was a good place with wonderful service. Price also it ok. I would recommend this place.
