Honestly, if you need to eat in the area, PLEASE come to En Hakkore. They are literally one of the most amazing Korean places we have eaten on our honeymoon here in Chicago. We have eaten here three times in the last couple days and each time it seems like it gets better and better. You cannot go wrong. Service is quick, amazing, and the people are always so nice. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Don't wait and get in here and try something. 😳 SERIOUSLY!!!

I’ve been visiting here for years, used to always go to the Damen venue, but this one is even better. If you’re looking for a healthy, nutritious lunch and a decent sized portion it’s tough to beat. I’m a big Bibimbap fan as it contains all the food groups and I throw in a bit of spice for good measure! Love it!

En Hakkore made up for a last-minute concert cancellation and effectively turned our night around. Plenty of space for dine-in at 7:30 on a Friday night and the space is clean with good music. (Pictured) I ordered the Crunch and Fire sushi burrito while my partner got the Fire burrito. Excellent entrees with a great balance of ingredients and generous portions of fish/protein. The tempura flakes on the outside of the C&F made it a little messy but hey, it was a tasty burrito. We also shared the bulgogi fries which were definitely made fresh, crispy and hot with a huge portion of beef. Looking forward to trying their take out next!

The only thing I didn't like about my experience here was that I did not have enough space to try everything. This is Asian fusion done right. I ordered the Crunch and Fire poke bowl and it was amazing. The blend of flavors was really well thought of. The serving size was also massive (check picture for reference). I ordered that with a side of miso soup and that hit the spot as well. A friend ordered the Bibimbap Sushi Burrito with a side of the shrimp tempura taco. He said both were amazing as well. Can't say enough good things about what my friend and I tried!

This has easily become one of my favorite spots in Chicago— a casual counter service spot in the heart of Wicker Park serving fresh and flavorful poke bowls and sushi burritos. I ordered the Kimchi Salmon Poke Bowl, which was so delicious— the salmon was incredibly fresh and melted in my mouth; the mix of creamy and crunchy textures and the mix of spicy and savory flavors were extremely pleasant. We also ordered the Bulgogi Fries, which were great— the fries were crispy and elevated when combined with different the textures and flavors of the sauces and bulgogi. I also tried a couple bites of the Friend and Crunch & Fire sushi burritos, which were equally flavorful and the textures were satisfying— a soft and chewy exterior combined with a crunchy and crispy interior. The prices felt pretty fair too, especially for the freshness, and the service was quick and friendly. Ever since I first tried their kimchi fries I’ve been hooked!!! Super delicious, nice little heat, super savory and intensely craveable. I can’t stop ordering these kimchi fries and the tuna fire poke tacos!! The heat is perfect and so flavorful. Obsessed. Crunchy, spicy, saucy, savory, hot and cool perfect deliciousness.

I had a a great experience here eating in, but loads of people were ordering there for take-out. The portion was HUGE definitely almost two meals in one and such a steal for the taste and quality. I would say this is the best poke I’ve had in Chicago, excited to try the sushi burrito next time I come in
