We were excited to try Birdman Ramen last night, but unfortunately our experience didn’t live up to expectations.
There were 4 of us for dinner and I was the only one who didn’t like the food so maybe I’m not the best judge of this restaurant.
‼️If you truly enjoy authentic ramen and asian cuisine, I would not recommend this place‼️ I had the Hokkaido Garlic Miso ramen with "silver" topping, which was sloppy and mediocre at most.

“Oh man we had such a great experience here tonight.”
Oh man we had such a great experience here tonight. Our server Leo was phenomenal and made some great recommendations for us and was just overall super fun. They have great options for vegans and vegetarians which I really appreciate. I had the tofu yum bun and the garlic miso tofu ramen and it was delicious. The tofu bun was so good! I could have had several of those. Definitely recommend!

Soft shell crab bun was delicious and the chicken karaage ramen was on point. Jonathan, my server, was also great; he checked up on me many times and was a genuine soul. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Chicago!

The tonkotsu ramen had the creamiest, most delicious broth, ever! My only complaint is that it didn’t come with egg… I thought ajitsuke tamago was a standard for all tonkotsu ramen but clearly not here; make sure to add, don’t snooze like me!! Truffle fries are 🔥💯

Johnathan was the best! Made the experience! 10/10 recommend this place, ramen is top tier and appetizers are so well made you’d think it’s the entree. If ever in Chicago, make this a stop at some point in your visit

Birdman Ramen was delicious! We are apparently the first Trini’s to patronize the restaurant and it was well worth it. From their chicken karaage buns to the ramen, it was amazing and perfect for the cold weather! Our server gave us recommendations and tips for our trip. Definitely stop by!

Were coming from LA and Jonathan gave all the what to do where to go in here … i ordered the chicken karage bun .. delicious !!!! Recommended for sure. And the dessert the mango ice cream is yum yum yum yum …

“One of the best Ramens I have had!!”
One of the best Ramens I have had!!! It was so tasty and I have been to Japan so I know good Ramen!! 10/10 would recommend. Staff were super nice and helpful, menu was so cool looking, and the whole restaurant was such a vibe 👏!
