We enjoyed a wonderful 3-course dinner here during Restaurant Week 2025. They have a great menu with multiple options! It is well worth the $45 per person. The service was outstanding, and it was not too crowded so we could hear each other! We had the seafood salad, beet salad and polenta with mushroom for our appetizers. Although the pasta was tempting, we had the branzino and risotto (we are suckers for anything with truffles ) for our entrees. For dessert, the tiramisu was the winner, with the cannoli a close second. Thank you. We will be back!

Absolutely delighted with our dining experience! Brenda, our server, was amazing—knowledgeable, attentive, and provided exceptional service throughout our meal. The food was outstanding; we started with the bruschetta and Caesar salad, both of which were fresh and flavorful. The highlight was the chicken Marsala, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The Bolognese was also fresh and tasty, a true delight. The back patio is gorgeous and quiet, adding to the overall wonderful ambiance. We look forward to returning and hope to see Brenda again. Highly recommended!

Neighbourhood restaurant vibe on Halsted ! Home made Pasta and great desserts. Definitely a visit . Went there multiple times . The quality of the food is spot on as is the service! The owner is frequently around and is extremely responsive ! The staff is extremely accommodating and the food is consistent. I have been there with large and small groups

“The service was simply phenomenal.”

The service was simply phenomenal. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and even taught us some Italian! We ordered the arancini siciliani and bruschetta for starters. For main dishes, we had the risotto ai funghi and the tortellini baronessa. They also have a vast list of Italian beers and wines, as well as great cocktails. The food was delicious and this is now my go-to place for Italian food in Chicago.

So I think I am biased to this meal because it was a pleasant surprise while waiting for my 2 HOUR oil change 2 blocks away.... this is my silver lining. I arrived with only a few tables seated at 6p on a Thursday. It's very quiet but full of engaged convo. I'm not creepy... just not used to dining alone. Anyway, the burrata with pesto was delish! The cappelletti soup did not look appealing and was served piping hot. I focused on my wine for a few, and then found it a little bland but acquired more chicken broth flavor with each bite. The arancinis were crisp on the outside with a creamy, cheesy center. I loved them. I will definitely come back!

One of the original Italian restaurants in Chicago that shouldn't be overlooked! A truly culinary adventure through Italy. Every dish was better than the next and so different but delicious. My personal favorite was the squash ravioli, squid ink pasta and the calamari.

“Wow....so delicious.”

Wow....so delicious. Best spinach ravioli I ever had. Everyone loved their choices. Friends had lamb meatballs, shrimp and scallop linguini, spinach and sausage shells. A little pricey but so worth it. They have valet parking. Friendly service.
