I recently had the pleasure of trying what might be the most amazing gnocchi I have ever tasted, and I am still thinking about it! This dish was truly a revelation and a testament to the fact that simplicity, when executed perfectly, is pure culinary genius. 🥔 The Gnocchi Itself The little potato dumplings were the undisputed stars of the show. They achieved that elusive, perfect trifecta: Pillowy Soft: Each gnoccho was incredibly light and airy—they literally melted in my mouth. There was absolutely no trace of that gummy or dense texture that often plagues poorly made gnocchi. Delicately Crisp Edges: A subtle, beautiful sear on a few of the pieces added a wonderful contrast in texture, hinting at a pan-finish that elevated the entire dish. Perfectly Balanced: The potato flavor was present but gentle, acting as the ideal canvas for the accompanying sauce.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-Try New Italian Gem in Uptown! I’m officially the first customer of this brand-new Italian restaurant that opened today, November 24, 2025, right across the street from my home in Uptown. I can already tell this place is going to become a neighborhood favorite very quickly. Every patron I spoke with was blown away by their meal. People were describing their entrées with words like unbelievable, amazing, and you have to try this. That kind of feedback tells you the food is something special. I ordered the short rib entrée, and it was absolutely divine. The meat melted in my mouth and was prepared perfectly. As I waited, Francisco, the owner, offered me a complimentary glass of wine. He was warm, attentive, and genuinely excited to bring great Italian food to our community. I live right across the street, and I already know I will be coming back often. There are so many other entrées on the menu that I cannot wait to try. Uptown truly gained a fantastic addition today. If you are in the neighborhood, treat yourself to this place. You will not be disappointed, and you might discover your new favorite spot.

I'll explore the menu more my next time here because the service and atmosphere definitely make me want to come back and try more offerings. I had the tuna special which was definitely substantial and flavorful; more of a hit in the head rather than a nuanced tap/pat. If everything is as bold as my dish was, I may need to drink more of their vodka martinis. If they can moderate the pepper (overheard someone else saying what I was thinking) then they will be golden! Worth a visit for sure, making the restaurant a staple in my lineup will depend on my next three visits.

Ordered cavatelli pugliese through uber pickup. Ordered cavatelli 🤌 but they gave me orecchiette 🤌🤌?? Also understand takeout is not main strategy so no plasticware available; tutto finisce a tarallucci e vino, i ate it like a dog. The mystery meat was soo yummy🤌. Crew inside is welcoming, friendly, professional, rivalling what'd expect from a private country club and the chef in the back be COOOKING 🙏 Lovely place that seems to be steadily busy around the clock and consistantly open. Definitely a welcome landmark to the uptown area and id recommend people bring em business because truly best option among the area and leagues ahead of the old news that used to fill these shopfronts. Review stars off because pasta.. Maybe rerate after next time!

one of the best restaurants I have been to in Chicago. We went there for restaurant week, they had a fantastic menu with lots of options, fantastic quality and price. It is a small cozy restaurant, service was quick, and the food was spectacular. I had the lobster bisque (a bit salty to my taste but amazing flavor), grilled branzino (best i’ve had) and delicious tiramisu. Very happy and can’t wait to visit again to explore the rest of the menu!
