Tried to place an order on Uber Eats. Very basic platter.

“I don't have much more to say about this place other than I would order from here weekly if I could”
“I stopped in here recently and was really impressed.”
I stopped in here recently and was really impressed. I had the chicken curry platter, which came with yellow rice, hummus, a falafel, and a salad with tahini sauce. Everything tasted super fresh and crisp, with great attention to flavor. The colors and presentation were vibrant, and it honestly felt like one of the better meals I’ve had in a long time. The restaurant itself is small—kind of cramped—but it’s clean, well-painted, and actually works nicely for a casual lunch or dinner. They seem to be known for their shawarma, but if it’s anything like the curry platter, you can’t go wrong. I really hope more people give this place a shot—it deserves some love.

“Very good food!!”
Very good food!!! The flavor never disappoints...Great sanctuary spot for Lane Tech students...I ordered the 3 meat combo, beef and chicken shawarma and chicken kabob with a salad and falafel but minus the hummus, with rice pilaf... Delicious!!!

“Fresh-as-can-be mediterranean food.”
Fresh-as-can-be mediterranean food. Beef kafka sandwich was a delight, cooked to order and stuffed with hummus and cucumber salad. Not to mention, the beef was steaming hot and wrapped in a warm fluffy pita. Falafel side was great as well; crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, as it should be. Prices are very reasonable and portion size is excellent. Highly recommend this place for a quick, tasty, affordable bite.

“Great lunch spot.”
Great lunch spot! Beat the high schooler rush so plan accordingly if going during lunch. Been coming here a lot over the last six years. Worth trying if you like pizza or middle eastern style food.

“Totally unassuming.”
Totally unassuming. Totally delicious. Order a shawarma pizza, and thank me later. Also make sure to get the spicy hummus. It's worth the extra 50 cents. The pita was really toasty hot and soft and the hummus was really something. This place is in a strip mall but don't let that put you off. They are putting out some really banging food. The staff all seemed really nice. And it's neat that you get to see right into the pizza oven. I don't have much more to say about this place other than I would order from here weekly if I could.

“Overall: If you are looking for a fast and super casual lunch or dinner option, definitely grab some falafel at Pi-Hi.”
Overall: If you are looking for a fast and super casual lunch or dinner option, definitely grab some falafel at Pi-Hi. The good: I'd guess to say this is probably the best falafel in the area. Not the best in the city by any means, but it's pretty freakin' good and comes out hot. The pitas that we got were stuffed to the brim (one broke) with hummus and veggies, and the sauces provided were creamy and spicy respectively. The portion sizes were filling and not too overwhelming, the menu is well-varied, and the prices are fitting for the quality and size you get. The not-so-good: While the food was hot and fresh, it did take quite a bit to come out. For a "fast casual" experience, we were there for probably 40 minutes total. The atmosphere is lacking, with an absence of decoration, theme, and overall cleanliness. Not enough to sway you away per say, but it's not necessarily welcoming either. The cashier wasn't very conversational. Atmosphere: 7.5/10 Service: 7.5/10 Food: 9/10

“Legit my favorite kabob and shawarma in the city.”
Legit my favorite kabob and shawarma in the city. The unassuming storefront is a casual yet charming family owned business with friendly staff. I usually get the chicken kabob plate or schwarma, and the chicken is always extremely juicy, flavorful, and delicious. It comes with seasoned rice, salad, falafel, hummus, and pita, for about $15. Very reasonable prices for the portions. Overall, I love this spot and will keep coming back. Pro tip: the hot sauce is the best
