Nonno Pino's
Nonno Pino's — high-caliber italian in Far North Side. Classic neighborhood feel, nothing here chasing trends. There's real intention behind the cocktail list. Inesa Ulitina: "The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauces were rich and satisfying" [$$]

“We visited recently to check out the restaurant and try the food since our family was considering hiring them to cater a wedding this Spring. We were certainly impressed! Incredible food and top-notch service. We had the eggplant appetizer, and I'm not a huge eggplant fan, but it was cooked very well and exploding with flavor. We chose the gluten-free version since my future sister-in-law has an intolerance. I ordered the parmesan crusted cod which was hands down the best I've ever had. Wow! The portions are large, so I had half leftover for lunch the following day. Everyone ordered something different (steak, pork, pasta, and fish) and we all left full and happy! Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience and we look forward to seeing you again soon.”

“While visiting Chicago, we discovered Nonno Pino’s through Google Reviews—and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We started with the Nonno Puffs, which were a delightful and flavorful appetizer. For our mains, we had the pistachio-crusted chicken and a seasonal special: butternut squash pasta in a rich bourbon and butter sauce. Both dishes were outstanding. We ended the meal with a classic cannoli—crisp, creamy, and the perfect sweet finish. The service was fantastic—warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout. Highly recommend this spot if you're in the area!”

“Salmon is fresh and tasty. Service is great, old fashioned was one of the worst in the neighborhood. Attaching a picture , of a beat up cherry in a cup full of ice.”

“They completely botched our carry out order and gave use the wrong food. We live 20 min away and didn’t find out until already home. We called and made them aware. They offered a $10 discount on our next order but I don’t think I’ll be dining here again based off of my experience and the follow-up phone call with the manager. Do not order carry out from this place!”
“Thank you for your continued partnership, support, and generosity towards Stock School this year. Community partners like you help our students thrive. Thank you from Friends Of Stock.”
“My boyfriend and I ate dinner here Sat around 5 and it was amazing. Our waitress aka the manager was amazing. I wish I asked her name. Everything was delicious and the staff was exceptional. Highly recommend the flour less chocolate cake, short rib ravioli and the calamari.”
“Absolute hidden gem! This place serves excellent food for a very reasonable price. Perfect for family diners. Strongly recommend their pistachio chicken and grilled calamari!”
“Food was amazing, actual baked clams, will be back in the future, this is the go to place now for Italian”
“We had my son and daughter in-laws baby shower yesterday and it was wonderful. Katie was fantastic, helpful, friendly and efficient. She took care of the bar and the food. Great food, very reasonably priced. Thank you so much”
“Ordered the Family for 5 Dinner & had it delivered. Outstanding on all counts! Delivered at time requested and nice & hot, generous portions. My guests raved about the food. Blackened salmon is the best! Thank you for a great at home dining experience 👍.”
“Exceptional on all levels. I hosted a funeral luncheon for 85 people and I could not have been happier. Mike was able to give us the entire restaurant from 12:30 to 4. We chose the family style meal, however, we asked for hot appetizers to be served in the bar area and we were accommodated. The bruschetta and Pino puffs were plentiful and delicious. The dinner was incredible. Caesar salad, chicken (flavorful beyond description), sausage and peppers, sautéed garlic broccoli, platters of homemade sweets. We chose to offer and include all cocktails, beer, wine for our guests. The bartender was on point even with chocolate martinis, anything a guest ordered was prepared perfectly. The service was stellar. There was never a dirty dish in sight. The food was replenished as often as needed. Kids were charged less than the adult rate. There was a tv to display the slide show and easels to put up photos. There was no detail overlooked. I received so many compliments on how perfect the event was. I also requested valet parking for guests for a small upcharge. I thank Mike and staff for helping me host the event I had hoped for, during a sad chapter of life.”
