incredible food, our server was fantastic. A romantic spot with amazing delicious food. We ordered mussels and a caprase salad. Both fresh and very delicious. Wife had the short rib and I had the chicken parmigiana.

We attended II Vicolo last night for my mother's birthday and everything was absolutely fantastic. My mother and father greatly enjoyed their lemondrop martinis. My old fashioned was fantastic. We had mussels and arancini as appetizers and they were amazing. We had eight finger cavatelli, whitefish and short rib for dinner and everything was out of this world. Service was transcendent. Jack gave us several recommendations that were all spot on. Hostess and bussers were great as well. What a fantastic little restaurant we never knew was right in our backyard.

We continue to return, pleasant staff, relaxing romantic environment, the appetizer mixed seafood is pheneomenal, the daily specials are vast with at least one choice plate, great outdoor patio, friendly staff the owner makes you feel at home. Great place a must see in oak park.

This place has everything that I feel is missing from current American dining. I Got the lasagna and a glass of sauvignon blanc. Very generous pours and nice portions here. Waiters were very attentive without being pushy (which is a very hard balance to strike and American waiters often feel like they’re egging you on to get out). The tables were well spaced apart, the bathroom was clean, and the decor was distinct and homey without feeling casual. Reminds me of the better places I grew up eating at. All around a fantastic meal, probably my favorite restaurant I’ve been to in my weeklong trip to Chicago.

I went to this restaurant to celebrate my dad's birthday in February. I liked the atmosphere in this restaurant. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with Valentine's decorations. The food was good and we ate it all. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I recommend this restaurant for a romantic date night.

Amazing service great food top of the line atmosphere. Each of us order a dish a shared a few bites to try different dishes chicken Vesuvio was absolutely delicious chicken Limon amazing spaghetti with meat sauce, divine pizza very tasty now onto desserts cannoli made fresh to order. The shell was nice and crispy and the inside was so fresh the carrot cake I give it a 10 the tiramisu amazingly great thank you so much for the wonderful service. I will definitely be back here. I just found my new Italian restaurant even though it’s a little travel for me it’s well worth it. This place took me back to Italy, even though I was in Chicago. I love it.

Tiramisu was a great dessert alongside espresso. Loved my spinach ravioli!! Margherita pizza was our appetizer choice. I would definitely come again. Service was great and attentive. Restaurant was not too loud, and tables were not small, unlike other places I've been. Plenty of parking as it is next to a parking garage (2 bucks for the 2 hours we were there, so don't freak out at the idea of using a parking garage). Burrata Ravioli and Spinach gnocchi alla vodka were delicious!

I am new to the Oak Park area and wanted some Italian. I got there and sat at the bar. Had a nice conversation with the manager. Nice when you don't know many people I order the sausage risotto and loved it. I stopped at half so I could enjoy a second meal. I went home and looked forward to my next meal. Unfortunately, I forgot it at the restaurant. I just went back again to order it again. I got there close to closing and they were very gracious and allowed me to sit. When I finished, they welcomed me to stay longer. I ended up going home as I have to deal with my move.
