Found a new great dinner place in Chicago! Il Milanese Ristorante is a beautiful place for outside dining on a lovely September evening. We started with focaccia- the zucchini one for our vegetarian daughter- and it set the mood. It was sooo good we knew we were in for a treat with our dinners. I had the Tortelloni - a sweet version of autumn. Daughter had Trofie Pesto. Husband had Tagliolini Al Limóne. We all tasted each others and couldn’t decide on a favorite. Well, I think mine was the best but theirs were delish, too! I had the Pinot Noir and it was the perfect complement. Tutto our server was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on the menu. He helped raise our experience to a whole different level. Highly recommend!

A friend recommended this neighborhood restaurant and it did not disappoint. The service was impeccable. The food was so fresh and amazing. The steak was absolutely perfect. The vibe was real upbeat. The staff brought my wife a birthday dessert on the house. Great affordable place and we will be back sooner than later. Highly recommend a reservation but you can chill at the bar if you have time.

Best pappardelle in town! Great pappardelle bace! We loved all our appetizers including fried zucchini flower with stuffed cheese inside, fava beans, and soft focaccia bread! We strongly recommend to try their white wine too! Again the pappardelle noodle were chewy and flavorful and it seems like it is housemade pasta

The great place to dinner! Love the atmosphere and food! We were sitting at the bar, and Erkaiym took care of us. She did amazing drinks for us. The night was great!

Probably our 4th or 5th time eating here, and we can’t wait to go back. Carbonara— normally this is not what I’d order because it’s usually basic… unless it’s done right. This was done right! Honestly, I didn’t realize it could taste this fabulous. The Costoletta Classica— Breaded Veal Chop, Tomato "Chicche" Basil was outstanding. The Ossobuco with risotto was perfect (again). The mixed seafood dish was delicious. We also had the pappardelle bice, rucola & endive salads— so good. And of course, tiramisu and pistachio gelato and limoncello to end the meal. The Service is always top notch, at all levels & positions, they’re quite a team then seems to work well together to deliver a wonderful experience.

“Good service, Good food with reasonable price.”

Good service, Good food with reasonable price. I dined in during restaurant week. The restaurant is very busy. Luckily, I was able to make reservation and got seat right away after check in. I thought food will be taken a while to wait but not at all. Turn out food is fast and they are tasty. I enjoy every dish. The portion of every dish is big. I had to take some of entree home to be able to eat dessert. I also ordered fugazza in addition. It’s not upset me at all. The bread is soft and of course the taste is good. I definitely go back again! Love it ❤️
