UPDATED REVIEW: Still the best pizza in Chicago. My bf and I drive an hour to eat here. The food is amazing, the servers are awesome and we always have a good time. 10/10 recommend this place to everyone. The best pizza in Chicago! The service is amazing. The atmosphere is unbeatable for a date night, prices are excellent for the amazing quality of food. Not to mention the decor of the restaurant is so aesthetically beautiful. Definitely a must not miss spot in old town. 10/10

If you are seeking a cool vibe and delicious food Gallucci’s is the place to be! Gallucci’s seamlessly fuses authentic Nepalean cuisine in an elevated but comfortable environment. You can tell from your first bite the care and attention that goes into every single dish. Our favorite dishes are the tartufata pizza which has a delicious truffle cream and prosciutto that is to die for! Another crave worthy dish is there rigatoni Alla vodka which is hands down the best pasta you will ever have. But in all honesty , I have never had a dish that wasn’t delicious. Servers are always friendly and warm and the cocktails are delicious! 10/10 must have while in Chicago.

back at probably my favorite Neapolitan pizza spot in Chicago, and we chose the perfect summer day to sit on the patio. Had a bottle of their Montepulciano which is a dry wine and the dynamic duo of the Pellegrino and Aqua Panda. Loved the libations, but the food here is next level in my opinion. The B&B salad was light and vibrant in flavor, the cacio e Pepe arancini was perfectly fried on the outside, and cheesy on the inside topped with fresh shaved truffles. Their rigatoni alla vodka is a top 5 of mine in the city, and has larger than normal rigatoni as the pasta. Gallucci is known for their Neapolitan pizza so we got their inferno red pizza which had hot chili oil and was the perfect amount of spice without losing the flavor of the other ingredients. The Quattro formaggi pizza is great for people who love cheese and the gorgonzola added a satisfying salty earthy taste to the pizza. We had a round of limoncello before the desserts which we had the chocolate cake and the newly launched Nutella pizza. It’s made in the same dough as the pizza so this was surprisingly light, chocoately, and overall I’m already dreaming of my next meal here.

My friends and I had the absolute best experience here. The restaurant is beautiful, service was absolutely amazing and the food 😍😛!! We purposely made early reservation time and by the time we finished, the restaurant was FULL on a Tuesday night. Neapolitan pizza at its best, along with apps and the cocktails were great. We will definitely visit again when we return to Chicago.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gallucci, an Italian restaurant located in Old Town, Chicago . As a lover of authentic Italian cuisine, I was delighted to discover that Gallucci specializes in making pizzas from Napoli . From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that made me feel right at home. One of the highlights of my dining experience at Gallucci was the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Anna. Anna's knowledge and passion for Italian cuisine were evident as she guided us through the menu, offering insightful recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Her friendly and attentive demeanor made us feel well taken care of throughout the entire meal. Now, let's talk about the food. The pizzas at Gallucci are truly a work of art. We had Pizza Tartufata and Pizza Pepperoncino ! Each bite transported me to the streets of Napoli , with the perfect balance of flavors and a thin, crispy crust that was simply divine. No matter what you choose, you can be assured that the ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality. I highly recommend trying the homemade chocolate mousse for dessert - it's the perfect way to end a memorable your dinner. In addition to the exceptional food and service, the ambiance at Gallucci is inviting and intimate. The rustic decor and warm lighting create a cozy atmosphere that is perfect for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends and family. Overall, I cannot recommend Gallucci enough. Fun experience in Old Town Chicago. Beautiful building with amazing murals. Loved the flamingo bathroom. We enjoyed a couple of salads and a couple of pizzas. Everything was very good.

The first time we visited Gallucci we had the best experience. The Food was AMAZING! Everything we orders had us raving about the place. We came back for the second time to celebrate a birthday with high expectations and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. Staff was very attentive , service was great and food yet again was excellent just like we remembered. Our friends enjoyed it just as much as we did. Definitely 10/10 .

“Alright, so I am a huge pizza fan.”

Alright, so I am a huge pizza fan! I have tried pizza and all shapes and sizes. For Napolese style pizza here in Chicago this has to be one of the very best. Believe me, I have am a local real estate broker and have lived in the city for over 22 years and have eaten enough pizza for 5 people over the years. We started with martinis because that's just what one should do, right!? The drinks were excellent. The house salad we ordered was made with arugula and large shaved pieces of parmesan. This salad is very refreshing and light and very good. For pizza we shared the "Inferno". It was made with San Marzano, basil, fior di latte, spicy salametti, Calabrian chili peppers, hot chili oil. If you like spicy you will love this one. I normally add hot sauce to my pizza, but this was made perfectly so I did not. The crust itself was absolutely gorgeous and flawless tasting. This is exactly what pizza should be! The service was great and people were very accommodating. We are already planning to go back and take friends with us. We also know what we are planning to order next time. We plan to get the Montanara which is flash fried topped with san marzano, parmiggiano reggiano, fior di latte baked in wood oven. We can't wait!
