“Gaia has amazing food, excellent service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made our group feel welcome. It was the perfect place to celebrate, and everyone enjoyed their meal. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it!”

“Always pass this place and have wanted to try. Finally had a chance to today and it was amazing.. The cheese wheel pasta was very very delicious from its tableside prep and presentation to the exceptional taste.”

“We tried Gaia for the first time on Mother’s Day and were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the entire experience was. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The service was fantastic; the staff was attentive, never letting our drinks go empty, and every course was timed perfectly. The food was incredible, and every bite was delicious. The bruschetta was perfectly prepared, the Alfredo sauce was rich, creamy, and cheesy, and the chocolate fudge cake drizzled with strawberry sauce was absolutely to die for. If you’re looking for a charming Italian restaurant for a night out with friends, family, or someone special, I highly recommend giving Gaia a try!”

“Great restaurant!! Service was excellent and food was delicious!!! Can't wait to go back again !!!”

“Decided to try this Italian restaurant out and they did not disappoint. Tuesday night and it was not crowded, our server Fernando took exceptional care of my family. Made great recommendations and the star of the show was the Cacio de Pepe in the big cheese wheel, it was like Alfredo but on steroids. This is now one of our regular spots!”

“Always a great time coming here! The freshest of food and a great experience.”

“AMAZING!!! Decided on a vacation week! Chose Berwyn due to its proximity to Chicago. Glad we did! What a great community! We stopped in around 5pm. Nice greeting! Quickly seated. We started with the Bruschetta. Instantly knew we were in the right place! Grilled bread! Not to hard not to soft. Fresh ingredients, great flavor. I chose the lamb chops. Holy Smokes! Best I’ve ever had and that’s saying something!! I don’t know how they did it!!?? Grilled! Breaded! Crunchy! Tender! Perfectly cooked. Broccoli perfectly! Served with potatoes that were a little crispy with big flavor! My wife had the Crab Cake. It was huge! Loaded with crab and perfectly seasoned and fried. The sauce paired perfectly with this dish. She also had penne pasta in their Marsala sauce. Again, everything was fresh and amazing. Ended it all with 2 desserts because why not! Tiramisu….Amazing Crème Brûlée…Amazing We ate all over Chicago, this was our #1 favorite! Thanks for a great meal! I’ll be dreaming about those chops!! 🤤🤤😃”

“Fernando was our waiter and did a fantastic job describing the menu and serving us. The food was hot and delicious, and the strawberry margarita was strong and delicious! We are definitely coming back!”

“Gaia Ristorante Italiano Review – 4.7/5 Gaia is truly a hidden gem in Berwyn—an unassuming spot serving high-quality Italian food that punches well above its weight. The fried calamari was a strong start: light, crispy, and fresh. A solid 4/5 for quality and execution. The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was anything but ordinary. This isn’t your typical heavy Alfredo sauce—it’s creamy but well-balanced, clearly made with high-quality cheese and ingredients. It’s a refined take that really works. The standout of the evening was the Chicken Vesuvio—absolutely phenomenal. Flavorful, perfectly cooked, and an easy 5/5. The pasta carbonara followed suit with rich flavor and great texture, earning a 4.2/5. You can taste the care in every dish. The only drawback? The atmosphere. While the food speaks volumes, the dining space itself feels a bit lifeless—sterile and lacking the warmth you’d expect from such a passionate kitchen. Final verdict: 4.7/5 Come for the food, stay for the flavors—but if ambiance is a big part of your dining experience, know that it leans more “hidden gem” than cozy trattoria.”

“I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday after seeing it recommended by a food influencer on Instagram. Unfortunately, the hibiscus margarita I was interested in was unavailable due to missing ingredients. I was also unable to order the stuffed shrimp, as the restaurant did not have the necessary stuffing ingredients, so I opted for the shrimp scampi instead. The highlight of the visit was the Cacio e Pepe, which was excellent and thoroughly enjoyable.”
