“This spot nails that cozy yet vibrant neighborhood feel, with a warm and inviting dining room and a patio that’s perfect for those rare Chicago days when the weather actually cooperates”
$20 for this vodka pasta dish is criminal. The food is good but $20 for some pasta tossed in some vodka sauce.
The manager is rude and unhelpful. Our car was trapped due to a family parking illegally and they did nothing to help.

“THIS IS THE BEST RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD.”
THIS IS THE BEST RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD! 🌍 The Skillet Cookie is the BEST THING you will ever try! This cookie will change you! 😭 -> 😃. Also, Kyle is an employee at Fresca and he is the nicest person I have met. He always remembers my order when I walk in and he is also very kind and compassionate and funny! Overall: YOU MUST GO HERE!

“I had such a lovely experience at Frasca that I’m already plotting my return.”
I had such a lovely experience at Frasca that I’m already plotting my return. This spot nails that cozy yet vibrant neighborhood feel, with a warm and inviting dining room and a patio that’s perfect for those rare Chicago days when the weather actually cooperates. Now the food! The arancini? Incredible. Crispy on the outside, creamy and flavorful on the inside…….honestly, some of the best I’ve had anywhere. They clearly take pride in what’s coming out of that kitchen. I also tried a new wine from their extensive wine list, and the server was super knowledgeable and helpful in guiding me to something I hadn’t had before, but ended up loving. Whether you’re into wine by the glass or bottle, or even beer and cocktails, there’s something for everyone here. The vibe at Frasca is relaxed but elevated and it’s perfect for a date night, girls’ night, or just treating yourself to some solid Italian comfort food. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu! If you’re looking for a spot that feels like a neighborhood gem but delivers like a destination restaurant, Frasca is it. Highly recommend.

“The perfect neighborhood joint for a lowkey night out.”
The perfect neighborhood joint for a lowkey night out! My partner and I always split a bruschetta board and the brussel sprouts app. Devastated that they've taken the whipped goat cheese and pepperonata off the menu. They've replaced it with the creamy brie and pear which would be great if they used regular walnuts instead of candied walnuts (too sweet imho). Still, the service is always great and the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming.

“Hands down one of the best Italian spots in Lakeview, paired with great service and prob the best pizza in the city.”
Hands down one of the best Italian spots in Lakeview, paired with great service and prob the best pizza in the city. We came in for restaurant week and it was packed, makes sense since our food was incredible. We started with two aperol sprits and the small butchers platter was great, so much prosciutto and it was so thick, and the cheese was great. Arancini was also amazing. We did the Soprano pizza and the short rib risotto, and it was so much food we couldn't finish. The pizza was one of the best we've had in the city! The dessert was the limoncello cheesecake and two cannolis, the cheesecake was one of the best we've ever had. Cannot wait to come back and eat the entire menu.

“This is by far our favorite restaurant in Chicago.”
This is by far our favorite restaurant in Chicago! The service is amazing, the environment with the music, and of course the food, there isn’t a dish we don’t enjoy. Our favorite is the Italian sausage pizza, the pappardelle pasta and the rose sangria. Amazing! Edit: still our favorite place, but please bring back the rose sangria and the rigatonni!! :)

I consider myself somewhat of a Caesar salad connoisseur and I order a caeser salad literally every time I go out to eat - I’ve had a LOT of caeser salads. the Caesar salad I ordered at Frasca was quite literally the most delicious version of it I have ever had. All of the ingredients tasted insanely fresh and I wish I could have taken a bottle of the dressing home to NC with me. (We also had margaritas, pepperoni pizza and the bolognese which were all as equally fantastic but the salad is the real star of the show here). I can not recommend this place enough for the food and the amazing service is just a bonus!!!! :) thank you frasca for the best caeser salad of my life to date!

“The short rib was fantastic.”
The short rib was fantastic. If you order the shorty rib, then this place is 5 starts. It was amazing tender, very tasty, and paired well with the polenta sauce. The soprano pizza was also very good. The ingredient all tasted fresh. The crust had a nice oven cooked flavor to it. The meatballs were alright. Needed more seasoning.

“Overall, a great spot for some good eats.”
Overall, a great spot for some good eats. We started with building a butchers platter which I really recommend as a starter- the fig jam was amazing. I ordered a grapefruit martini which was pretty mid but maybe I was in the wrong for ordering a drink at a wine bar. Lastly, I ordered the Italian sausage wood-fire pizza which was really yummy but I was bummed to find out they only had crushed red pepper and not giardiniera peppers. Still would recommend.
