Hidden prohibition era gem in the heart of bucktown. There's a bar and two tops in the front with larger tables in the back. Really enjoyed both the food and the ambiance. Menu is fairly extensive and hits a wide range of Italian dishes. Everything we got was delicious and came out very quickly. Service was to notch too. Our table got lost in the shuffle and the person who took up serving us made sure we were well taken care of and even comp'd is a dessert. Definitely coming back

Red-sauce joint tucked right into a residential neighborhood. Old-school supper club vibe. Baked clams by the dozen. Caprese. Stuffed artichoke - all excellent. Veal & Chick parm, seafood linguine, salmon- the sauces! the meats! And... Martinis- expertly poured-divine. Go spend ur $$$ and feel good about it.

Some friends and I visited as part of a prohibition tour. It's been years since I have been to Club Lucky and I don't know why I haven't been back sooner. Even though we were just there for cocktails, service from our bartenders was great and the cocktails were some of the best I've had worldwide, nevermind Chicago. These people are professionals and very good at what their craft. We ordered a charcuterie board which was good, and I'll surely be back for dinner and more cocktails soon.

12/15/2024 Wow so late (6 months but ok) This place was amazing. We went here because my friend recommended it to us. It’s safe to say we are not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious. Their pasta was delicious and the salad was also really good. I also like the dessert at the end. The service was good. The employees came in to check on us often and were really kind. The atmosphere was amazing. There were so many decorations and cool lights. Overall, I will return here again. It is such a good place!

It was quite delicious! I was with a group of 8 people and it was very loud but that's all part of the experience. This food was very good. I got the fettuccine Alfredo and it was quite delicious but man, the calamari appetizer we had was genuinely incredible. Some of the best calamari I have had. It's light and fluffy and big! Wonderful. The service was some of the best. We had a little accident lol (one of our guest members accidentally forgot to take their retainers off a plate that was taken to the back to be washed) and the servers did everything in their power to find the retainer. Seriously, they were so kind. I didn't catch their names but it was a young woman with blondish hair and an older man with dark gray hair. Wonderfully designed inside. Gosh, I LOVE the inside and outside of this place! Even the manager came out and talked to us and he was incredibly kind 10/10 experience would go back Only gripe its VERY loud. But, it's okay, it's all about the experience lol

We had a fantastic Saturday night at Club Lucky! Our party of four sat in the coolest booth — an elevated window seat overlooking the bustling, energetic dining room. The atmosphere was lively, and the mid-century décor is absolute perfection, down to every detail. Francesca the hostess was amazing and accommodating. The espresso martini was delicious with a capital D! We started with the seafood salad, which my son-in-law (a New Englander and seafood connoisseur) says is nearly impossible to find in Chicago — he’s only come across it at two other spots. It did not disappoint — absolutely fresh and delicious! We also enjoyed the Bolognese, Chicken Vesuvio, veal ravioli, calamari, and a heavenly tiramisu for my birthday surprise! Every dish was spot-on. Club Lucky is the perfect place for a special occasion or a cozy date night. It’s especially sentimental for my husband and me — we dined here as a young couple before getting married, and now, as we approach our 30th anniversary, it’s just as wonderful as ever. Club Lucky never disappoints!

great classic Italian dishes with a 1960s atmosphere. tiramisu is a must. amazing service. it fills up quickly every night so you may want to make that rezzy. drinks are strong and delicious so be warned or just have fun!

I’m so glad this restaurant is all decked out for Christmas because otherwise I might not have found it. I was searching for a place that was decorated for Christmas. It was beautiful and festive, but the food was great and the service was fantastic! I’m so happy we discovered Club Lucky and we’ll definitely be back.

“Club lucky is one of a kind.”

Club lucky is one of a kind. My boyfriend and I come here at least twice a month. I always get the beef meatballs, they are SO good, just melt in my mouth. I also like the chicken marsala- I just wish the sauce was thicker. My boyfriend always gets their famous martini. I recently tried their lasagna and I was a big fan of the ricotta cheese filling. Without the extra bolognese sauce it would’ve been a little dry. If they added the sauce between the layers that would’ve made the lasagna outstanding. But overall great service, great spot.

Club Lucky came highly recommended from many friends and was such an amazing experience tucked away in the streets of Bucktown. The ambiance transports you back in time, from the dim lighting to the floors, you felt cozy immediately. Service was absolutely amazing as our waiter made recommendations across the menu and navigated us through their stellar martini options. Can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu!
