Great food and atmosphere. Nice interiors and very professional service. We loved the Village Goat Curry - if you can handle bone in goat it's wonderful. We tried the butter chicken and also had a wonderful dish of stewed cauliflower, potatoes in a saffron or curry spicy. Not to be missed is there naan. Fresh baked to order and comes in a ton of different variations. We had the onion garlic naan and it was great. Will definitely be back. The menu is... enormous if I tell you there are 100 items I am probably not exaggerating. But our server was a good guide and gave the perfect recommendations.

It’s a lovely relaxing dining experience. There are so many items on the menu to choose from including vegetarian and vegan items. I went mid week and had one of the luncheon special bowls. The food is served, piping, hot and delicious.

OMG! One of the best Indian restaurants I have been in one year in Illinois! Good, kind staff. We had a bit of issue with the order, but the manager fixed it right away. The food was amazing, not greasy, yet delicious and healthy. Dessert -Kheer was Devine! Out of the world. Creamy and yum, also just about the right amount…Going to bring all my girl gang again soon, and the kids when they visit home… Great job teem Tawa!!

I’ve been coming here off and on for 12 years. Used to live in Skokie, now live in the city. I can say with certainty this is hands down the best Indian restaurant in the greater Chicagoland area. Their spice game, on point. The ingredients, beyond fresh. Give these people your money!

Life is too short for boring food. So that's why you go to TAVA Fresh Taste of India. From the moment you walk in their doors you're transported and ready for your escape from reality. Mahima is truly amazing. She literally asked us what we liked and didn't like and personally made our menu for the evening. From the cocktails to the very last bite Mahima transported us to India. Run don't walk to this Gem of a restaurant. Molly Bernard sent & I'm saving you airfare 😉 *cocktails are pricey (so keep that in mind when ordering, but other than that fantastic little gem).

What a FANTASTIC meal at Tava today! We were visited by the owner who was so kind to us. The chicken 65 was OUTSTANDING. Excellent food, excellent service (our server Sonia was amazing). Highly recommend!

The Chicken Dum Biryani was awesome. There was just the right amount of spice and it was nicely balanced by drizzling on some sweet yogurt. The chicken was so tender and delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. I would absolutely return to try more of their tasty dishes. UPDATE: 4/29/2022 This time I got the same dish but with lamb. It was delicious. Their Naan bread was great too. This is definitely a favorite spot for me.
