“Super unique Indian fusion food, not your typical 'authentic food', but if you're a fan of Indian flavors in general, you'll love Superkhana”

“Great Indian fusion cuisine.”
Great Indian fusion cuisine. All my food came out super fast. The chana chaat has a great-tasting yogurt sauce accompanied by a crunchy texture. The Maggi Noodle Bolognese elevates instant ramen with Indian spice and Italian flavors. As for the aloo gobi calzone, the dough was cooked and seasoned perfectly, but the filling seemed uneven, making one side bland while the other overly salty.

Such a welcoming and fun vibe, excellent service and delicious food. The chile cheese naan was a bit too spicy, and I LOVE spicy food. The Manchurian potatoes amazing as well as the ice cream sandwich.

“I went to Superkhana for the first time for dinner with my best friend.”
I went to Superkhana for the first time for dinner with my best friend. I was really impressed with the food, but especially with the service! Our server Sidra was genuine, fun, and attentive, recommending us things on the menu and even events in the city we might like! It was the most fun I've had at a restaurant in Chicago in a long time and honestly the best service I've ever had.

Was very surprised how big this restaurant was, has a great bar, seating area, and patio! Love the decor and vibe. We had an amazing dinner at happy hour. We got the butter chicken poutine, chana chaat, and the beef keema & paneer calzone! Service was very fast and everyone was so friendly. Will definitely be coming back

“I really liked this reimagining of brunch food with an Indian twist.”
I really liked this reimagining of brunch food with an Indian twist. The spicy beef (kheema) was super flavorful with those curry heat signatures. The hash potato cubes and the over-easy eggs complimented the heat. But the dosa, a thin crepe like bread, sopped up all the juices from the meat and yolk. The dosa is lighter and imo a tastier side than naan. I look forward to trying other indian fare at this place!!

Brought out of town family to a dinner to get them out of their usual realm of flavors and was fully delighted by the staff, food, and service, especially the attention to detail paid by Yoshi to my sisters allium allergy. The seven selections we ordered were all bright, fresh, and well-balanced covering a range of spiciness in both heat and complexity. It's clear through dishes like the Channa Chaat and the roulade chicken that a lot of effort went into making superb dishes. The tapas style service made it easy to try all the flavors. Get it right at the start and order two baskets of naan and all the dips. 10/10. Will be back for more!

“Superkhana International is an absolute gem and easily one of the most unforgettable dining...”
Superkhana International is an absolute gem and easily one of the most unforgettable dining experiences I’ve had in Chicago. As a Michelin Guide Indian fusion restaurant, it lives up to the hype and then some. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a vibrant, contemporary atmosphere that reflects the creativity and boldness of the dishes they serve. We tried the Butter Chicken Kulcha, Peanut Maggi, and Chicken Curry, accompanied by some uniquely crafted mocktails—and every single item was phenomenal. The Butter Chicken Kulcha was rich and flavorful with a perfect balance of spice and creaminess tucked into a beautifully crisp flatbread. The Peanut Maggi was a nostalgic yet genius twist on a classic comfort food, elevated with texture and flavor that felt both playful and gourmet. The Chicken Curry was deeply satisfying, packed with authentic spices and served with precision. Even the mocktails were refreshingly inventive, complementing the meal perfectly. What sets Superkhana apart is not just the taste, but the innovation. They take traditional Indian flavors and reimagine them in unexpected, delightful ways without losing their soul. Whether you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or someone looking to try something new, this is a must-visit spot in Chicago. It’s more than a meal—it’s a celebration of flavor, creativity, and cultural fusion. Can’t wait to go back!

“Congratulations chefs on your nomination for Best Chef Great Lakes at the James Beard Awards for 2025.”
Congratulations chefs on your nomination for Best Chef Great Lakes at the James Beard Awards for 2025. Well deserved! Seasonal vegetables get the royal treatment here so be sure to add some fresh options to your mix of dishes. If you’re a fan of Indian food you’ll love the flavors, but the textures will surprise and delight you. Even intrepid dining companions went back for seconds on each dish. We almost didn’t get these photos because the food was disappearing so quickly. Congratulations to the entire team!

“We just enjoyed dinner for three at this Indian inspired restaurant.”
We just enjoyed dinner for three at this Indian inspired restaurant. The butter chicken calzone was great. We also tried to eggplant buns and the slow cooked lamb which was yummy. The highlights included “naan” with chilies and cheese which presented more like a pizza, and the chai tea tres leches cake with whipped cream. The mango lassi was also good but very small for the price.

“We were looking for a place opened on a holiday and we came across Superkhana.”
We were looking for a place opened on a holiday and we came across Superkhana! I really enjoy finding places that offer creative dishes and we were in for a treat! The food was awesome, interesting twists on familiar dishes with new mixes and inventions. The service was really friendly and down to earth. They explained their menu in a way that made us all comfortable to ask questions and feel confident in knowing what to order. Since we were all sharing our order, they thoughtfully served us each dish sequentially as different courses and that worked out really well. We were intrigued to try out their ice cream in the dessert menu cuz we all love cardamom and they gave us a complimentary addition. Thank you for a wonderful evening and we look forward to returning!
