Food and atmospheres were good. Service needs attention. We had to constantly ask for water few time. Sambhar was cold (they forgot to turn on burner). When we reminded them about it, they replaced with hot one in less than 5 minutes with more liquidy one. when dosa was ready, they didn’t call or anything. We had to keep eye on it to make sure we go pick it up when ready.

I was searching for a good real veg buffet and decided to try hearing their veg options and I was amazed by their quality and quantity of the options. Even though it was mix of both veg and non veg buffet,I liked all veg buffet options a lot. Desserts were amazing and they had at least 4-5 appetizers/starters that very few restaurants offer. Taste was the best. I was surprised that many restaurants have stopped buffet on Sunday but this place stands out. Staff was courteous. Booth seating gives privacy for family. Price was reasonable with reduced pricing for kids.keep up the great work team.

Golconda become my regular spot to try various delicious indian food. As a family, we trying Ghee roast, spring rolls, Chicken 143, Lemon chicken tikka, tandoori chicken and chicken noodles. Excellent taste and very delicious. Their buffet was awesome as well. Reasonable pricing as well.

The best Indian restaurant in Chicago area. Garlic chicken has full flavor. Naan is so soft I can cut with two fingers. Paneer curry is good. Overall if you are looking for great Indian food this is place to be

Place looks dull from outside, but it's pretty decent on the inside, went in for late lunch and it was empty, the staff was really courteous, the girl took the order promptly, the other boy came to check-in on the food. The food itself was pretty good, we had Tiffins and it came in hot. It was filling. Only feedback I have is 1) Masala dosa should have the "masala" on the inside of the dosa, not outright separate. 2) one of the staff members was walking around with a NASA T shirt, it'd look better if there was a uniform or simple overall black clothes or anything industry-specific attire. Other than that, definitely recommended for some south Indian food.

Very friendly staff, food was so tasty, lots of variety for the weekend buffet! Update March 2025: This is still one of my favorite places to eat. The buffet is so good and covers everything you would need. There's fresh veggies, meats like chicken or goat, cooked veggies, crunchy things, spicy and non spicy, desserts and a hot table to make dosas! We had chocolate 😋 I always look forward to the mango milkshake and Chai tea, they're just right! Fresh fruit, plus other Indian desserts that are very good!

We recently celebrated our daughter’s birthday party in Golconda banquets, Mr. Dayakar helped us a lot to make it a grand success, he fulfilled every promise he made to us. We also appreciate all the staff who went above and beyond to make our event colorful. We requested for vegetarian food, it was awesome. We strongly recommend everyone to host events in Golconda banquets.

Overall, it's a good dining choice in the area. Ambiance is great and the service is fast and efficient. There are a lot of options for both Veg and Non-Veg. The briyani is excellent and many curries as well. There are some ares of improvement, but the service and hospitality more than makes up for it.

A hidden gem with Authentic Flavors and Taste !!! The delicious weekend buffet had a variety of chicken, lamb, and veggies dishes that would appeal to a broad palette with something for everyone. The food does not compromise on quality and aromatics. There is a dosa station for you to have fresh ones made before your eyes. And the desert was equally as delicious as the main courses !!! This is a place where you will want to put on your frequent dining list.
