Chiya Chai Logan Square — dependable indian in Avondale. It wears its years well. There's real intention behind the cocktail list. Vegetarian-friendly, no long waits. "The fries were perfectly cooked, seasoned, and came with one of the best sauces ever" — Ross Karlins

“Service was excellent and people were friendly and helpful”
I haven't been back because all of my favorite food is gone:( no more momo , no more lamb curry.
We’re Indian and were excited to try this place based on reviews. It was one of the few chaat open at 11 on a Sunday.
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while because it seems like a great spot, but I’ve noticed the exterior windows are often really dirty.

“I love chai and there are so many options—and everything is SO good.”
I love chai and there are so many options—and everything is SO good. The person tending me was so gentle with my low blood sugar indecision. Cute decorative detail and I will be back for adult beverages another time.

“Came here for the first time to get takeout food and it was a great experience.”
Came here for the first time to get takeout food and it was a great experience! I tried the samosa chaat, masala fries and the desi chai and they were all really good. Everything was ready pretty fast and the environment in there was also very cute! I would reccomend for a quick bite or if you want to go to a cafe to study / work. It was also very reasonably priced.

The pani puri is my favorite, but I’ve never had a bad bite here. Same with the chai! Spicy masala and ginger fennel are my favorites.

“The first thing you're going to notice when you walk into this business is the aroma, it is so...”
The first thing you're going to notice when you walk into this business is the aroma, it is so wonderful, it smells absolutely incredible in here! The next thing you're going to notice is how easy the menu is. It looks effortless, even though it was obviously curated over time with great care and precision. There are options for literally everyone. The gluten-free offerings are extensive! They are incredibly careful and gracious. If you have a food allergy, the staff is very well informed about which are the safe foods and which are not. If you are celiac, they did not make us feel in any way like an inconvenience or a problem. The food here is absolutely incredible, as are the chai drinks. We recommend this place all the time! Really hoping that this place is always here, because they never, ever disappoint.

“I was craving curry and this place delivered.”
I was craving curry and this place delivered! Great portions at reasonable prices, I’m glad to have this in the neighborhood! They also have a little store selling hats and other goods. It’s also a great spot to sit and work on your laptop and it’s near many other shops and such.

“At Chiya Chai, a sip of Nepalese delight, Where chai varieties dance in the light.”
At Chiya Chai, a sip of Nepalese delight, Where chai varieties dance in the light. Each cup a promise, warm and inviting, Priced with care—truly a value worth writing. Plates arrive with generous share, Friendly smiles and service that care. The space is clean, a welcoming scene, A neighborhood gem, both humble and keen. Yet a wish lingers on the spice and fire— The dishes and chai, a touch milder than desire. Chiya chili potatoes, soft yet shy of a crisp, A flavor note that I hope someday will twist. Featured once on Check Please’s lore, A nod to excellence and so much more. While I wouldn’t plan a trip just to roam, If passing by, I’d call it home.

We ordered 2 chai lattes, samosas, chicken momos, and masala fries. Everything was hot and delicious! The drinks and food came out quickly, there was plenty of seating available to get some work done, and the staff were friendly. We’ll definitely be back soon!

“Chiya Chai has the best Chai in the city.”
Chiya Chai has the best Chai in the city! Also super festive with the holidays. Their decorations are so cute The servers are so nice and accommodating and are super friendly with any questions, food restrictions, and recommendations with the food and drinks. This cafe is a good spacious place to eat and study. It has a large backroom seating area and the front seating area. The Cardamom Pistachio Chai is a must! The Saag Paneer and the Chiya Chili potatoes are my favorite dishes. Spicy and sweet... Yummy
