“Best fried chicken sandwich in the city although the vada pav and the uthappam are just as good.”
Best fried chicken sandwich in the city although the vada pav and the uthappam are just as good. Literally everything I've had here is outstanding and I would go here again and again. Great for a casual dinner out or late night.

“Delicous drinks and a great backbar.”
Delicous drinks and a great backbar. The staff was really friendly and they had good happy hour deals and a couple vegan options. The lime in the coconut is the best NA ive ever had. I will be going again!

“AWESOME NO NOTES!1!1!1 variety of south asian inspired dishes and everything was delicious.”
AWESOME NO NOTES!1!1!1 variety of south asian inspired dishes and everything was delicious. i loved the mocktail options (so fun and different than just juice and seltzer!) and the prices were not bad at all. our server was so kind and answered all our questions, and even gave recommendations for our trip around the area. cute fun atmosphere, limited amount of tables so i’d say reservations are a good idea- we got lucky with a walk in for 4 though!

Very much enjoyed my time at Lilac Tiger, we were only able to get a seat against the wall but considering we had no wait that was actually pretty lucky I think considering how full it was and how long the wait for a full table was. Drink was absolutely fantastic (Bring Back Lilac Colada) and the signature Tandoori Fried Chicken was great too. Think I’ll have to try the THC Sando next time. Chef Zubair and the rest of the staff provided great service as well.

“This was a surprisingly good place.”
This was a surprisingly good place! We showed up on a Tuesday evening without a reservation and got a table. We ordered the nihari momo, chicken chettinad masala and a thc sando and everything tasted really good and had lots of flavor! We also got ube milk cake for dessert and that was good too. Would recommend this for a spot to grab some quick indian food.

“We ordered almost everything on the menu.”
We ordered almost everything on the menu. All the food was delicious. The burger and the calamari really stood out for me. ** If you have sensitive teeth be careful with the cucumber salad. It includes some crunchy stuff that felt like it was going to break my teeth. 😬

This Indian Fusion spot in Chicago seemed fun and unique in Wicker Park, so we wanted to check it out! They opened 6 months ago by: 👨🍳Zubair Mohajir Ty Fujimura from Arami Won Kim from Kimski Few things : 1️⃣perfect spot if you love spicy. They even say it on their menu 😂 2️⃣ Must get: Lilac Colada 💜🍹 + THC 🍗 (Nuggets or Sando) 3️⃣ No reservations - just come at odd hours, we waited for 10-15 mins on Saturday at 6:20pm. They open at 4:30pm and close 11pm/12am Prices: 🍹Lilac Colada $15 🥃Old Fashioned $15 🍗Ferrari Special "THC" Nuggets $12 THC means Tandoori Honey Chicken, really sesame forward , perfectly crispy with spicy gocuujang aioli 🥟Nihara Momos $15 - fresh dumpling wrappers, bed of Lentils, topped with garlic, & pickled cauliflower & onions 🦐 Tiger Prawns $20 with Thai Basil & sweet potato 🍛Duck Fried Rice $28 - duck itself was slightly too salty but good with the mint leaves + pickled onions (to cut the saltiness). Fried egg + rice was done perfectly Will come back!

“Great food and atmosphere.”
Great food and atmosphere! The menu has a nice fusion of various cusines, predominantly Indian and Korean. I tried most off the shared section and will come back for the Entrees and Sandos!

“Great vibes, amazing food and drinks, and really cool staff!”
Great vibes, amazing food and drinks, and really cool staff!! Absolutely love the poutine (fries are super yummy) and vada pav (like a Somosa slider) as starters. Had the kati roll with paneer and was super happy with it. The cocktails are all amazing but I always get the Lilac Colada. My table also got the THC Sando and it was delicious. If you like ube, you’ll love the ube cake it was so flavorful. The vibes in this place was so good. The staff is so fun and friendly and the playlist is always a vibe. Definitely coming back!!
