“Yummy food, quite different than regular Viet restaurants! The food is definitely different yet retains the Viet authentic cuisine. We had the eggplant with a smoky flavor, clams, mussels, noodles, crab fried rice, and dessert.”

“Amazing food, service, and prices. I had the enchiladas verdes con huevos and they were amazing!”

“Now that's what I call a great brunch spot. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the staff are genuinely friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and everything feels thoughtfully put together. It has the kind of warm, homey vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer and enjoy your meal. I also appreciated some of the small details, like using a tablet for signatures instead of wasting paper. It is nice to see a business making practical choices while keeping things efficient. My only minor suggestion would be the coffee mugs. The glass cups looked nice, but they were a bit awkward to hold and didn't quite match the cozy feel of the restaurant. That said, it was a small detail in an otherwise excellent experience. Great food, wonderful service, and a comfortable atmosphere make this a place I will happily return to again.”

“Visitando uno de mis lugares favoritos para desayunar en Chicago. Buen café, chilaquiles increíbles y ese ambiente en Pilsen que siempre se siente como casa. Nada mejor que empezar el día con comida rica, buena vibra y un cafecito perfecto. Nuestra experiencia estuvo a cargo de Dulce J, gracias por tu amabilidad y atención.”

“Babe and I stopped by for brunch, I wanted to share this experience with him as Frida Room is one of my favorite spots. Every time I have been here over the past 4+ years I get the Art District Burger. It comes with bacon, grilled strawberries, grilled blueberries and a spicy chipotle sauce. It has been consistently good!! My boyfriend made his own omelette and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I usually drink regular coffee but my server accidentally poured me cafe de olla, and OMG the herbal flavor was so strong and delicious. It was my first time trying it and it made my day. The ladies working the establishment are also very kind and hospitable. I enjoy visiting on a warm morning to see the windows open, and people casually walking the Pilsen streets, it makes the experience more memorable.”

“It's BYOB, $8 uncooked fee. I had churro french toast and it was perfect, just what I wanted.”

“Frida’s Room in Pilsen is such a great spot! The service is excellent, and the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Their café de olla is so good—and the best part is that they offer refills on both the regular coffee and the café de olla, which is a huge plus. If you go, make sure to ask for Maria (la Chiquita). She is super sweet and was constantly checking on our table to make sure we were taken care of. Her attention and kindness really made our experience even better. Highly recommend Frida’s Room for great food, great service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere in Pilsen.”

“An absolute favorite breakfast spot. Packed on the weekends. Highly suggest making a reservation.”

“Quaint little restaurant with outdoor seating and wonderful open windows. Excellent service.”
