“We want to give a shout-out to Renee and the entire Elske event and kitchen team for giving us the night of our lives. We hosted our wedding here a couple weeks ago as this is one of our favorite restaurants in the city. By hosting our wedding at a Michelin starred restaurant, we already knew the food and drinks would be GREAT (special mention for the most delicious s'mores by the fireplace!!), but what we didn't fully appreciate until the day of was the five star service from the entire Elske staff. From the little things like candles on each table, and having cocktails readily available at the start of cocktail hour so there isn't a line for the bar, to constantly checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed; I really can't say enough good things about the team! It really elevated our and our guests' experience -- and it was still probably cheaper than what you'd get from hosting your wedding in a "normal" wedding venue. We are so grateful and can't wait to come back for future anniversaries and celebrations!”

“Elske exceeded every expectation. Each course was beautifully presented and absolutely unforgettable, with flawless flavors and thoughtful pairings. The service was warm, attentive, and genuine, creating an atmosphere that felt elegant yet welcoming. Every detail made us feel truly special. Amazing!”

“Monday April 6th my wife was able to get a reservation at Elske…needless to say it was March Madness final. The service was not only impeccable…it was everything you would expect. Now the food…wow and just WOW! We were blown away with everything. The taste, the presentation and timely served. This is one of those places you just don’t take pictures of the food. You’ll have to experience it for yourself.”

“A bit too crowded for a Michelin star restaurant. The flavors are all good.”

“An exceptional and exceptionally interesting meal throughout. The individual dishes had very good combinations and interactions io s of ingredients especially. I would highly recommend the non-alcoholic juice pairing too, the juices tasted good of the selves and also elevated some of the didges”

“Every course tells a story. Every meal meticulously prepared and served by the person who made it. This is definitely unique experience of dining. Nothing is rushed, wine paring is excellent. Place is clean, staff is friendly. Open kitchen gives view into the creative works of chefs. Highly recommend. Best thing about this place the food portion seem small but they are not, just right. You will not leave hungry its perfect.”

“Got to try some unique dishes (salt cured anchovies, duck breast, and sunflower seed parfait) at this Michelin-starred restaurant. It was all well balanced in flavor!”

“Had an amazing celebration dinner after my friend’s wedding and the experience was delightful from start to finish. The service especially great from our event server. He was patient, kind, and professional although our group was quite rowdy. The food portions were larger than expected and everything we ate was enjoyable, unique, and flavorful. The private dining room is the most beautiful room I’ve had the pleasure to dine in outside of NYC, with an enormous fireplace and giant windows letting in plenty of natural light. I was visiting Chicago for this event and I will most definitely return once I am back! Omg, I almost forgot to mention that there are some extremely talented bakers in that kitchen. My friend’s wedding cake was by far the fluffiest cake I’ve ever had. I took home two pieces and I’m still thinking about it. Do yourself a favor and host your event at Elske!”

“The food and our wait staff was amazing. It comes with a large price tag, which can be jarring, but it is comparable to similar restaurants in the area. We opted for the set menu, because the chef will know best what pairs well and how to curate an experience. It was a perfect amount of food. Some particular highlights were the tea of lightly smoked fruits and vegetables, seared halibut with artichokes, black olive, and saffron, and the øllebrød with puffed grain, strawberry prunes, and hazelnut ice cream. It was a pretty laid back Michelin experience. The waiter was knowledgeable and easy to converse with. My only reason for giving four stars instead of five: the hosts were not eager to greet us. They felt cold and gave the experience a weak start. Perhaps if they were positioned closer to the entrance it would help.”

“A solid meal every time. Make life simple and do the tasting menu. Food is always on pt.”

“Overall a good experience and was there for their NYE tasting menu. Good food imagination and creativity by the chef and some great flavors and unique combinations. Although o don’t quite agree with the added on 4% restaurant surcharge. Simply raise your prices.”
